Got a 2016 catch1 on Amazon in10/18 new. Great spec! Comes with a Fox 34 fork with 130mm travel. Changed that with a 160mm air shaft. I like the 2016 Fox forks much more than the offerings from Rockshox. The spec is a 2x10 speed, I pulled the front shifter , put on a no drop 26 tooth chain ring and a 42-11 cog stack. Bike can climb walls and dance through rock fields. Comes with sealed wheels and tubeless valve stems so just add sealant and you are tubeless. The Blackard rims were very easy set up. Great riding bike, worth every penny

Weakness:

Weakness? The tires are not great so I will up grade them in a while. There are also reports of the rear hubs failing because the axle comes loose so I took it apart and added some thread lock. Both the catch 1 and 2 are spaced with 130mm forks, the bike rides much better with a 150-160mm fork like the release, plan on extending the travel for the best results.

Wow - what a fun bike. I did sell the original drive train (chain, cassette, derailer, shifter) and went to Eagle. I also bumped up the tires to WTB Trailboss 3.0. Heavier than stock tires, but grippier. When ride this bike on trails it is just plain fun. It is balanced, predictable, quick, rolls over things easily and great traction with plus tires.

Weakness:

Not light, but ok given all it is. Go with 12 speed Eagle - nice to have some lower gears for steep or long climbs.
