    Strength:

Disc brakes, frame geometry, beefy wide 24 wheels with great ptofile (50-507)-wheels, high quality conponents that withstand abuse of your young mtbr :-). Since that was ine of first their releases - they well-thought it. That model is still in production but I see that current 2016-17 voltage jrs have cheaper components.

    Weakness:

Shinano revoshift, specially 3x left are unreliable and hard to shift for kids. Stock "giant tires" are Cheng-Shinn cst have quite soft compoubd and wear quickly although ride great (rear tire completly worn).

My 6y.o. son loves it, it is hard to belive that scott has really made this for kids - it has every part of grown-up mtb / jumper bike. I had bought it used /Scott Voltage 24 Jr 2009 disc model/ in 2017, had to replace only Gripshifters, grips, cables, tires. Everything else works perfectly (front hub scott, rear quando, bh mx4 disc breakes, bottom bracket).
