couldn't pass up the price for my entrance into the freeride world. i need to feel more confident than i was on my specialized and i'm very happy i bought it. aside from it being uber heavy, this bike gives you the added confidence boost to take your riding to the next level.

Strength:

Strong frame, solid feel, uber smooth suspension, pedals ok on the flat if you're prepared to spin, feels very stable when in the air

Weakness:

Scratches easily, heavy frame

My first "BIG" bike and supremely happy with it! I needed something chunky as I'm 6'4 and 120kg.

My riding has improved no end with this bike, with confidence to hit bigger jumps, drops and whatever else come my way.

As a trail bike its obviously not great, but can still be pedalled as long as yo don't mind a workout.

I found my 05 frame (brown) having never been used so it looks like a brand new bike - some people are even asking if its the new 2010 model Faith!

Recommend this bike to anyone who might be looking to get their first DH / FR bike, who isn't worried about moving some extra weight and who wants a high degree of confidence that it will take some atomic hits!

This bike is BOMB-PROOF!. The fork is absolutely ah-mazing and the swiger shock preforms well too. The bike has a great feel, espesially when it corners. this thing also blows trough rough sections and even the ocasional rough landed jump.

Weakness:

HEAVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a BEASTLY bike that will eat up any drops, rock gardens, rough landings, tight corners or even small rodents in its way!

Strength:

this bike is a god damn beast, it handles any trails up to double black diamonds. i can do 10 foot drops and it hold up, ANY terrain this bike can handle it has 8in travel rear 8.5 front and i could never bottem it out. THIS BIKE IS AMAZING and i never had ONE problem with it even on the biggest jumps. its got a great over flow preloader shock with coil. The 8in vented hydralic disc brakes have AMAZING stopping power and nothing compars to the shirts and deraillers. Any professional or good hard strong rider should get one

Weakness:

no weaknesses, this bike is amazing

THIS BIKE IS AN AMAZING BEAST

Strength:

solid, not bad looking, mine came custom with better spec (eg.888) so i get more out of it, but the frame is nice. suspension very effective, no brake jack, 8inches plenty enough. The inerrupted seat tube is a pain tho.

Weakness:

frame is very heavy, my bike must c.45lbs or more. some unnecessary aluminium. could be simpler and sleeker.

a good entry level big bike, but one heavy mutha, don;t beleive the freeride garb, this bad boy aint going uphill unless your lance armstrong

Strength:

almost everything. il ike the pedals they are nice for getting your feet off in the air

Weakness:

just the tires ..such thin side walls, and maybe rims but they are still holding up
- fork is sof ..but u can put a thicker oild in it

Nice Bike especially for the price ..dont find an 8 inch bike for that price besides a kona..but who likes kona honestely? Its 5 and 5 in my mind ..u night want to through on a bigger .. or stronger fork like 888, or boxxers for over 15 footers ..does pretty well going up hill ..but i prefer shuttles
