Strength:

nice looking, relativly cheap, pretty stiff rear end(no comparison to the dh1)

Weakness:

frame has actually been designed slightly wrong as most double roller chain devices will not fit as the swingarm hits it.Mrp elite fits perfect though.not to sure about the rear facing dropouts as i have had the wheel moving a few times now but a big,um should help out.like all coyote,s ever made it aint got a dedicated 185mm rr disc mount bah they all diffrent.rear shock is good but take care at first or ull blow it away.

i like this frame alot feels sweet and has enough travel to soke up most things.not as stiff as my dh1 but thats another story.hate the coulor it came in so respray on the cards asap.mkaes ya laugh when ya hear of peeps spending loads on the big name bikes that use exactly the same rear end design as this bike and cost loads more.not too happy with haveing to buy another chain device though mmmmmm coyote need to get their rear disc mounts sorted oyt as thats now 2 coyotys i have had that i cant run a 185mm disc on even though their both dh bikes.the dh3 takes loads of time to set up cause of the 90 possible positions ya can set it up too so take a good day playing around with it and ull get exactly what ya want.

Strength:

Cheap.
Light for dh.
Free replacement.

Weakness:

Not plush enough.

This is the exact same bike as Fastrax's F-2. Better for freeriding than downhilling. The long top tube with a short stem is comfortable. My whole team uses this bike.

nice and cheap, very strong apart from the pivot gaurd which has cracked on myne.travel upgrade or shock upgrading easily done, myne has 8.5 at the rear now.very stiff swingarm.pivot bearing upgrade lasts for ever i think.cant go wrong if ur on a budget and u can get hold of one somewhere.

Weakness:

the all new coyote warranty department dont hold stock of anything do do with this bike anymore.eh dont know really has been all good for me

love this bike its gave me very little hassle in the time ive owned it and i aint been nice to it at all.bought a marin dho frame at the same time and it broke after 3 weeks and this survived so its the daddy.getting a new bike soon but ill still use this till it eventually needs to retire.

Strength:

good and strong doesn't break even with zzyzx's used on it!Adjustable angles to move the BB

Weakness:

the shock is sloppy and not very fast on the rebound but it gets there and you can't change it!

Good bike rides well nice for Downhill, street, jumping anything but XC really. It's strong and best works with a 5 in fork, it's a rocket in the air it goes where you put it and if set up right you wont bottom it out alot, works in mud and dust with no problem from the seals. Good for Uk downhill.

If this is the Red F2 type frame then:
Cheap, lightish, long travel, no flex, looks good, nice handling for me (6 foot, 13 stone). LOCK OUT ON SHOCK FOR UPHILLING! No bob, even when not locked out.

Weakness:

Shock not adjustable damping, shock replacement size.

Great frame, my brother (with the Mt Vision Pro) tried to get one instead of his marin, but I had bought the last on of that size in the country!! Gets you noticed, I have had so many people at races and on the street taking great interest in my trusty steed - I now lock it up with 3 steel chains to my garage wall!
Good after sales service, the coyote HQ is just down the road, and I have been to see them, got a tour of the place and offered any help I needed!

Strength:

You'll never break it. No real pedal bob. Low maintenance. Can always trust it to land something big, especially with the nice laid back angles. Good customer service, 2 year crash replacement warrantary. Fairly light- 6.5 pounds.

Weakness:

Could be a little plusher with maybe an inch more travel (only 5").

Excellent Starter DH frame, good VFM, and you can take it down anything. Confidence inspiring. However if youre looking for the plushest long travel ride this isnt it.

Strength:

It is a bombproof frame, totally suited to UK style courses and trails. Single pivot design gives flex free ride and low maintainance.

Weakness:

The bushing pivot wears out but a bearing conversion kit is available for the small sum of 15 English pounds.

Rides well on all terrain, low maintainance. Lands jumps that you would die on, when on a hardtail(e.g. Arsenic Quarry). Nice and yellow too.

Strength:

this is the F2(red, carbon swinger)- strong, could be alot heavier, nice ride, still looks cool now. has caused me zero probs..

Weakness:

not the lightest(was it meant to be though?), the rod on the shock makes it a potential arse to replace. im thinking of machining something up...

it was offered way cheap when i got it, bout £300ish, and has proved great value for money. iv been tempted away a couple of times, but the F2 is still going strong! it seems plenty solid enough, and the rear end doesnt seem to flex atall. the only thing that had me looking elsewhere was the weight; what with discs, heavy forks, factory muds etc, it can be a slag to drag up hills. however, it doesnt seem to be any different than any other fully loaded fun machine, and i would only have been looking at something lighter and with far less travel/fun factor. the only near gripe i had was when fitting an RST disc on the rear. i had to space the caliper out from the frame by about 4mm to clear the edge of the rotor. i am now fitting XT discs, so fingers crossed...
an all round fun, comfy freeride/epic gem. it will be possibly be better for me with an air shock to reduce weight, and a U-turn kit to make it more versatile and climb easier

Strength:

Excellent balance of strength/weight/function, a real 'do it all' frameset. Has reinforcements in all the right places, looks good. Was very good value at the price I paid (300 quid for the frame.)

Weakness:

Maybe a bit hefty for XC, couldn't get replacement rear mech hanger for love nor money. Rather attractive to thieves.....Not enough travel for hardcore DH.

I loved this bike, up until the day the rear mech hanger broke at the end of a very muddy ride. I dismantled it to clean it up and some B*****D stole it all from the car port at the house where I live before I got a replacement hanger. For the price I bought it for (£300, rather than the £650 original retail) I was really impressed, the quality of the travel and build are definately worth the full £650.

Strength:

Budget Dh which actually works, doesn't bend and is well made

Weakness:

Shock replacement Size

This frame has been sold quite a lot in the UK. It retails really cheap for what it is. It's got gussets in the right place, is strong, well made and is very light (around 2.5kg). The only weakness is that the shock is mounted with a long arm, so a fox shock or roxshucks won't fit. Amazing value for the money, much better that other multi pivot designs. Single pivot, one big nylon bushing (which can be upgraded to bearings for £15). Buy one, they are strong, they last, or even better get the dh-2 with standard shock size for £650. If anyone in the states has got one i'd like to know how you found it..The shock is good, and has only started leaking after 1 year of hard thrashing.. Warantee replaced it no problems, and set with the right spring you should be ok (500 standard, for me 650 was best)Definately 5 chillis as i haven't broken it..Please somebody else must have this bike??!? Dirt magazine in the uk gave it a definate thumbs up...
