DESCRIPTION

The Turbo Levo FSR Comp 6Fattie/29 offers 150mm of travel front and 135mm in the rear and SRAM GX groupset. The frame is constructed M5 Premium Aluminum, which is equal parts, strong, lightweight, and responsive. The geometry is all business with a low-slung bottom bracket, roomy top tube, and ultra-short chainstays. The cable routing is all internal while the Specialized M1-504 504Wh battery is fully integrated in the down tube and the motor is secured by a forged brace mount. The 250W Specialized 3.1 Rx motor provides plenty of power to get you back up the mountain. It comes equipped with the 6Fattie (27.5+) wheel system but also accepts regular 29" wheels.

Strength:

This is for the 2019 Comp FSR. I rented this and the Trek Powerfly 7. I felt the Trek had more torque but the Specialized was smoother and less noisy. With the Specialized you really don’t hear the motor and when first starting out you feel the motor engage but it’s real subtle. After you’re moving you don’t really notice that you’re not doing all the work unless you go to the highest power, then it’s noticeable.

Weakness:

The clearance between the back tire and frame is pretty tight. I don’t know if that’s good or bad but if you get mud on the tire the frame will squeegee it off. Price is high but it’s a pretty sophisticated piece of equipment. The Bluetooth feature is nice to customize your riding style. I originally had an issue with connecting but that was just once.
