Update of first review. 250 miles of mostly single track riding and still quite impressed with the bike. Handling on the KHS rivals my non e bike (Ellsworth Epiphany) which is a superb handling bike. Rock solid reliable- No breakdowns or malfunctions. E bikes rock! And this KHS is put together rock solid and has comendably competent and confidence inspiring trail manners. Keep in mind e bikes are all about having electric assist for climbing and speed where you choose the level of intensity from no assistance, to minimal assistance, to very impressive assistance, to maximum assistance which is a very impressive amount of torque on the pedals. Longest ride so far- 20 miles with 1000 ft of climbing consumed 50 percent of a 500 w battery using mostly eco mode with a bit of trail mode on the steepest climbs.

Weakness:

Expensive to purchase- but so far this bike is holding up well and proving to be good investment.

Strength:

This is a modest looking bike that kicks ass. Shimano steps motor excellent. Excellent handling with superb suspension geometry. Other bikes ridden- 2019 Specialized turbo Levi and Giant Trance e+1 pro. The KHS easily matches these bikes on the kind of riding I like to do- aggressive riding over rough terrain.

Weakness:

Biggest weakness- not as sexy looking as the specialized or Giant e bikes, although equal in performance. Not a bad looking bike mind you.
