Strength:

It's super lightweight, corners like a dream - hugging the ground, stable at high speeds, stable in the air, great angles which can be adjusted to make even slacker, simple rear suspension design, pretty good spec, and Rock Shox work very well too.

Weakness:

Rear wheel buzzes the seat. This is a problem as you'll end up having to spend money on new ones. I'm halfway through destroying my second seat in three months. If you find you like to keep your seat low when jumping, you'll definitely have to stiffen up the shock as hard landings will bottom out the shock and connect seat with tyre. Bottom bracket height is quite low, so you clip peddles on corners sometimes. There's also a little pull when braking hard, but nothing that a few days out riding you wont get used to.

This bike is perfect for those that like to go fast! Simple as that. You will pull away faster than others, you'll catch others on single track by simply coasting, and you'll cut valuable seconds off race runs. But it doesn't stop there: this bike isn't just a race machine, as the name implies. It can also jump well, ride 4X, drop, crash, and bounce back and keep running at full pelt. It may not have the advantages of multi-pivot bikes (but they also have some faults too), but it more than makes up for these with weight savings and simplistic maintenance.

Strength:

Single pivot simplicity. Plenty of travel. There like rocking horse ****. Adjustable geometry.
Ability to fit different lengths shocks. 150mm rear spacing. ISCG mounts plus the ability to run a front mech. with guides. Stylish.

Weakness:

Bit pricey but that's why there the best init?

Best bike ive ever owned. Pleasing to the eye. Very bouncy. Frame was new in Feb. 06, Pedals very well through alsorts of terrain. Can knock the shock back to lie into the trails as necessary. The machine inspires confidence through out. Ive set it up for freeride-trail work and it fits in excellent.
