Strength:

Climbing, descending, the flat, jumps....

Weakness:

Possible future support.

I have only been on this bike for a short time, I read the Ironhorse threads that say to change the rear shock from the 8.75x2.5 to a 8.5x2.5 and did this before I rode the bike.
The bike is 30lb with 2.35 High rollers on and rides like a dream. My rear shock is off a Alpine 160 so has heavy compression and medium rebound damping shims installed, this makes for an ace AM bike. Propedal on Full (Setting 3) and it rides like a soft tail, flick the lever and it rides like a mini Sunday (I race a Sunday).
The front end stays planted just like a Sunday and the rear loves to drift as you would expect from an Ironhorse. Over jumps it loves to be laid down and whipped.
I have a Medium Sunday and a Large 6 Point, both bikes have the same wheel base and the head angle is only a couple of degrees different due to the changed shock.
I changed from an Mbuzi (another point and shoot awesome bike to ride), I only changed as I love the Sunday so much and wanted something with the same trail trails as the Sunday.

Strength:

Super plush, extremely potent rear suspension system (dw-link), loads of travel yet still light and nimble enough for technical uphills and long, epic rides. Best trail performance ever experienced. Massive fun on the downhills!

Weakness:

None so far...

This bike definitely rocks! Smooth, predictable, nimble and VERY fast down the hill. Aggressive if need be without sacrificing control. An absolute blast in thight, technical bends. The Sunday pedigree can be felt every second!

But there is more. Thanks to the relatively light wheels, the U-Turn fork and the perfect rear suspension, the 6Point is light enough to pedal uphill for hours. It is hard to beat on any kind of singletrack and the rougher it gets the better the IH performs.

This bike is the right choice for everybody who seeks a bike that is mainly one thing: endless fun on the trails!
It won't disappoint you on the uphills, and if you choose the parts wisely it will even be a pleasure to climb that next steep hill to rip the yet another divine trail back down. It WILL deliver on the downhills and at the occasional bike park trip. No doubt there! And it WILL make your mates envious to see how much fun you had in all those trail sections where they were doing nothing more than struggling and stumbling all over.

I will try to post another review after some more months of riding the 6Point. Right know I can't help being extremely chuffed with my new ride! A bit enthusiastic, you say? Go and ride one of these. Then try to come back without that extremely BIG smile! Just try...

Weakness:

The front derailluer hits the noodle in the granny

If you like climbing higher and descending faster this bike is for you
