This is the intermediate mtbr's best friend. Its weight is akin to that of much higher priced bikes of less common material ;) component wise its the complete package for those looking to get into competitive cross country, or just your friday night bar cruise with a local club. Pushing your limits is easy on this speed demond with beefed up 29s, flats..you rule them even when running out of steam this bike wants to go forward. Up hill is a breeze with push select lock out capabilities. Downs are incredible let loose those fox shocks and you are screaming fast down hairy terrain.

Weakness:

Personally i would have liked to have seen better tire selection this is a fast bike you need to be able to keep the traction going in the hard turns

All in all at 2200 for a 2014 I dont feel like i over spent, i got more then i thought i was getting, and that is the way no matter what you spend! You should hope to always feel leaving any store with any product.

Great bang for the buck! With a nice combination of components, and great geometry this bike flies down the trail. The Fox Float shocks really soak up the terrain and the twin lockout allow this bike to climb like a Billy Goat

Weakness:

My only complaint is that the grips are not lock-on but that is an easy fix and more of a personal preference.

After my hardtail 26er was stolen a few years ago I didn’t have the money to go out and buy another bike right away. This is my first full suspension and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The solid platform and the big 29 inch wheels inspire confidence. My first ride in two years while not fast was comfortable (something I struggled with, with 26er) and fun. The bike is fast in the flats, soaks up the rocks and roots in the down hills and climbs like a Billy Goat. I can’t wait to get back in the saddle for the next ride.
