Strength:

Very light mine is stock except seat and grips. Very smooth over rocks, roots and single track, climbing is now exciting. Love the challenge of climbing and being able to lock out the rear and front has improved my climbs. This is an all day machine which can handle everything I ride. Back end is stiff and nimble. while the front end is steady and able to point and go. Over all great machine for the money. First time on a 29ner and I have to say I am riding stuff faster and harder than every before. Also my first KHS bike and they have a customer for life now.

Weakness:

tires are a bit weak for grip on really steep climbs. Change out the seat and grips as the stock options are very hard on the butt and wrists for grips. Other than that this is a rocket ship.

Strength:

2016 model. Bought at closeout. Ridiculous spec for the money. Similar geometry to the 2015 Scott Spark...this thing is fast!

Weakness:

Maybe not a weakness, but this is XC race geometry. It gets up and goes, but may feel twitchy compared to recent slacker options. Had an immediate warranty issue on the sram guide brakes...plunger overheats and locks up levers. everything else has been spot on.

Strength:

Makes tough climbs easy, quality build with Sram drive train, rolls very fast and corners well.
Most bikes of this build are $1,500.00 more. Cosmetics are attractive.

Weakness:

Nothing weak about this one.

This is my second KHS , they know how to give BIG bang for your buck.

not great on gnarly downs

I have the 2015 and love it.

Great bang for your buck.

Components are fanstastic for the price.

Climbs and handles great.
