Strength:

Small, portable but rugged.

Great tool--make sure you hit the chain rivet square...I missed one and broke the pin. Bought a replacement pin and this thing is still going strong. At the price, put one in your seatpack and another in your toolbox.

This chain tool has to be one of the easiest I have ever used. The thing I like
about this is the backstop, which leaves the pin in, so reattaching with the
same pin is a snap. This way I can even reattach shimano chains without a new
starter pin. It's relatively small so I can take it with me on the trails, but big enough for the tough jobs at home. Overall a very good chain tool.

Strength:

Small, easy to use, great backstop

Weakness:

Bar to turn doesn't provide THAT much leverage

Great tool BUT, the little pin which pushes on the chain unscrewed from the tool and got lost in my toolbag - maybe due to vibration ? Of course, only found this out when I most needed the tool ......

Advice, buy this tool BUT use loctite to fix the pin in place

Strength:

Works great, when it does, compact

Weakness:

I got a messed up one, so the threads pulled off of the spindle

I think Park has a lifetime warrany, so I'll return it and get a new one. This is a great inexpensive chain tool. Don't buy those cheap $3 ones, the pins mushroom out and weaken the chain even more, and sometimes get stuck. Once again, a great tool from Park Tool, but I'm gonna have to take off for the inconvenence.
