This is one great tool kit for home use. The tools are of good quality, and the carry case is awesome for using at home or on the road. Combine this with a Park PRS-5 stand, and you can set up shop almost anywhere. I paid about $125 for the entire set, which is more economical than just picking up a tool here and a tool there as you need it. You will likely use most of the tools if you own many bikes, or do much work for others. I have been using the tools for all major home repairs and adjustments; hub rebuild, brake/shifter adjust, major tune-ups, headset adjust, etc ... Save yourself a lot of money, and learn to use these tools.

What a great deal, this kit has most of the tools you need for basic maintnence. There could be some things added that would make this kit awesome like: CN-4 cable cutter, CC-2 chain checker and a few other things. The material that the wrenches are made of is a bit soft, and a stiff bolt will dent it.Although this is adequate for my needs right now, I would like to see Park have a package deal on there professional grade tools with everything you could need.

Strength:

Structure of the tools are outstanding. They fit their application like they are supposed to. the kit itself comes with a good variety for the home mechanic.

Weakness:

i thought at first the price(compared to a taiwan set), but after using them, i would have paid the common price of
$125!

Im new in the cycling world, but after seeing the prices lbs's in santa cruz charge for service, i wanted to learn it myself. i added a bunch of parts to my stock allez and figured a set of tools would be a good investment. i was shakey about getting the more expensive Park set, but after nights of consideration, i went for it and am very happy. i would suggest this set to anyone who wants value for thier money.

The completeness of the toolkit is great, add on to it a pair of pliers, an adjustable wrench, and the usual screwdrivers and wire cutters, one can probably fix anything on the bike.however, the quality of the metal used in the tools is not that great. they tend to be on the soft side. if used in, say, unscrewing a stuck pedal, the metal will give. so beware.5 chilles for the selection, minus 2 for bad choice of material
