Strength:

Great beam pattern at lower power settings when riding at slower speeds; lightweight light head; maintains constant brightness at high power even when going slow

Weakness:

EXTREMELY loud cooling fan that is ALWAYS on; excessively bright in the near-field at the highest power setting; insufficient "throw" when going fast downhill

I had hoped to replace my Betty R with this light due to the fact that my R steps down in brightness very quickly when going slow in warmer temperatures. However, the noise from the fan was a total deal-breaker. Who wants to ride with what sounds like a miniature blow dryer? Moreover, you can even feel the subtle vibration from the fan on the handlebar! Minus 2 stars for the noise and minus 1 star for the beam pattern.
