Strength:

The concept - small, light in weight, USB charged and multi functional is ideal for a light to warn / advise oncoming traffic or errent pedestrians

Weakness:

See below but would add the light has a poor USB connection protection - the plastic cap to prevent the ingress of water from the connector is weak and liable to parting from the light unit.

The above said, the light is absolutely useless - certainly in daylight conditions. Have tried it in dusk light and as expected is marginally brighter but far from satisfactory in full intensity or flashing mode. Have not dared to use it in night conditions. Destined for the bin !!. Shame and expensive.

Similar Products Used:

Moon 60 LED rear light - known to have problems but the intensity of illumination at the same price as the Cateye Rapid 1 LED front light outweighs the potential problems. In fact have two - both in use for over 12 months.
