Strength:

This review is for the original Strykr, 2010 model but the design is very similar. Beam pattern is excellent with the wide reflector. Light output, even with 700 lumens (2010 model). Battery lasts for 2 rides, 3 hours each. Durability, strong outer casing to prevent "fall-apart". Water proof, good if you get caught in the rain or want to go snorkeling.

Weakness:

The stock bar-mount uses zip ties, which is OK unless you have multiple bikes you need a light on. but mount upgrades are available. Not the lightest light if that bothers you.The battery is large and velcros straps on, it works but not elegant. Not the lightest light if that bothers you.

Worth every penny, the beam and light output are excellent. It drowns out my buddies lights, they hate to ride in front of me.

Got a deal on mine when I turned in my old light. Go read the "Lights and Night Riding" thread and talk to BajaDesignsShannon.

Incredibly bright and built like a tank, though not heavy, and water proof. The Stryker II throws a great beam with a nice spot plus a good halo. One cool thing is that the Stryker comes with two lenses -- a spot and a wide beam. I've only put in a few rides so far using the wide beam but I think I'll keep the wide beam.

Great warranty on both the head unit and the battery and BajaDesigns is local so if there ever is a problem I'm confident it will be taken care of right away. In fact, I did have a minor issue (received two spot lenses) and Shannon took care of it right away.

Weakness:

The only "weakness" is the standard bar mount. Now, it is not a bad mount but they have an optional mount for the Stryker that comes standard with the Double Stryk. I went ahead and purchased and it was a very worthwhile upgrade.

The Stryker II is built to last. Very bright and puts out a nice white light compared to my old Niterider which had a blue-grey'ish light.

Customer service seems top notch and they are here in the US in San Diego.
