Strength:

Light, durable, flexible, easy & quick on/off. Tighter webbing grip. No more wet bum club.

Weakness:

None

The new X-Blade II is getting better and better over the years. In contrast to the Mk I, the Mk II is longer and the wing is wider, so it provides a perfect coverage with 2.3 tires : no more wet bum club member. The webbing fabric incorporates now an anti-slip material, so it has a better grip on the seat post tube. The quick-release lever is sturdier, so it can be mounted tighter to prevent sideway swing out. I secured the lever with a zip-tie to prevent any unwanted opening during a hard landing or crash. I tied the X-Blade to the top of the vertical frame tube, just below the seat clamp, because of a remote dropper seatpost being operated. It is very easy to adjust to the 120 mm rear suspension travel thanks to the twin-joint feature.
