Strength:

Feature rich, backlight, wireless.

Weakness:

Very difficult to operate. Not user friendly at all.

Just got back into MTB and picked up this mainly because of its wireless functionality. It had way more features than my old CatEye Velo 2 so I didnt see any downside. Install was flawless but that's where the fun stopped. Using the computer seems like it would be easy by simply pushing down on the bottom of the computer while its mounted. On the bottom is the select button that gets compressed when you push it down. On the top (facing the rider) there is a rubber button meant to be compressed while also pushing down to activate the menu button on the back. It worked maybe 1 time out of 30 tries. I talked to CatEye and they recommended either moving to a more costly unit (if the same features were important) or going with the Strada Wireless if all that was really needed was time, distance, odo, and mph (which is all I really want).

The guy I spoke to at CatEye was almost apologetic as it was obvious the MC200 isn't for most people. He said if my LBS didn't exchange it out to give him a call and he would swap it for something. Still sticking with CatEye, just not this one.
