Dan, I want to get a 2013 Super X. I'm 5'8". I think I need a 48cm. Not sure if I want RED/disc or Ui2 or plain Ultegra. No one has these bikes in store. How tall are you and what size is your 2012 frame. Which cantis did you use? Any other comments on your bike or the new models?

    Thanks so much Dan,

The wheel did feel sloppy when I rode it to the shop. The guy from the shop has ordered a couple of helicoils of cannondale and he is going to try it on tomorrow.

Fingers crossed it should be pretty straight forward. Thank you again !

    Hi Dan,

I read your post on Removing Lefty front wheel... GRRR!!!! - On it you mention that "On a Lefty, the brake actually does double duty. It stops and slows you down but it also acts as a security front wheel holder, if the front brake caliper is
there, the front wheel cannot be taken off.

Now, on my Lefty Max 130 TPC (2003) I can turn the bolt on the hub both ways without it coming out or doing its function. And, when I remove the hub cap by itself, the bolt stays on and I can actually screw it in and out without problems, it just does not tighten.

My question is, is the caliper double function enough to hold the wheel, or should I park the bike until I can get it fixed?

Thank you in advance for your help,

    Cheers,

    A

You should ask mendoncyclesmith here in mtbr.com or email/call him (www.mendoncyclesmith.com for the info), he did mine but he might be able to fix yours at a lower cost than swapping the internals for new ones. If it can be done, he's the one who can do it.

Nice scalpel my 09 had a defective rebound knob/shaft that no longer turns and cannondale is offering to charge me to mail me new 2011 pbr internals. Where did you get your upgrade and how much did it run you? Thx for the info.
