thats an old shot of my bike...its never been that clean sience! I will be puttin up a new up-to date picture up soon, but my forks broke so my bike is slightly in "pieces" right now :( I have a few upgrades done to it sience that picture...I trashes the Quad Disks and put a 8'Hayes HFX hydro in the front, New BB and some other small details. What kind of brakes do you have on there? I thought the 8.3 came with hydros??

How do you like the 8.3, I've been looking to buy one and looking for some feedback on the bike. Did you have any other bikes in mind before you went with the 8.3?

nice looking bike u have there! :) too bad about your fork dude.. but that means its time for an upgrade correct?
ANyway the reason why i dont have Hydro's is because i used to have a escape 8.2 which came with Avid mechanical discs, but i found the frame was too big for me and i liked the haro frame so much that i found this 8.3 frame and just transfered all my parts onto it, exacept for the forks cos the EXR comp that came on it was too stiff. so basically running all 8.2 parts except for the fork. but the forks, brakes and rear derailer are the only things that seperate the 8.2 from the 8.3
but apart from that i just did a few small upgrades like stem, pedels, tyres, levers saddle (i broke the titec one), and i rebuilt the rear hub.

anyway best of luck with your bike.. send us some pics once everything gets fixed up yea? :)

hey how ya doin? the bike is not acctually a real 8.3, because i was using a 8.2 but the frame size was too big so i just switched frames, and changed forks... althou the only difference between my bike and the 8.3 is the brakes, and rear derailer. generally i find the HAro escape frames bomb proof! the solidness of the frame can really be felt! umm the psylos are great althou i find their springs are a bit too soft and im not the biggest fella around.. but use a heavier weight oil and u should be rockin. other than that, Haro specs its bikes really well, all super tough parts.. so i dont really have any bad comments on it..

good luck in finding your new bike dude. keep me posted :)
