I live two hours away from this shop, so called in to check out what they had in their inventory first. I got wonderful advice over the phone and more when I came into the shop. They gave me several options and I ended up buying a bike I hadn't considered before, which has turned out to be perfect for me! I have a hard time biking any more due to a spinal injury and these guys were very helpful in adjusting my new Cannondale Adventure 2 just right. The prices were better than anywhere else I've looked up in person and online, too.

the best around. i've purchased 12 bikes and one lemonds trainer. the only place to go. they have eliminated the competion with there incredible inventory and sevice. excellent mechanics .for such a small place tons of inventory. they have a mix of roadies and mbikers.
weaknesses:
mountainbike brands.only cannondale and trek. no 29ers. are supposed to pick up garyfisher. I purchase everything from clothing to parts from bill. Used to purchase my mntbikes from bill, but trek does not allow you to by just the frame. cannondale doesn't offer a 29 full suspension, so i had to go to my second store Speedgoat. i hated doing that.
good selection of road bikes in trek and cannondale. Hours are very accomodating.

Worst EVER. Stay out of this dude's shop

Customer Service

Unbelievable. Just moved into town and wanted to support the LBS. Brought in my high end Cannondale with a derailure problem. Owner said since I did not buy the bike from him he was not going to touch it and that it was also a poor design by Cannondale. Yes this guy is a Cannondale dealer. I was speechless. So I guess I'm suppose to buy a new bike every time I move to a new city! Worst bike shop experience I have ever heard of.

Not a friendly place

Customer Service

I almost fell down! I had just moved into the state and needed to get my high end cannondale worked on. The owner would not work on my bike because he said I did not buy the bike from him and the problem I was having was due to a bad design by cannondale. I was not aware that you must lay down a few grand everytime you move to a new place in order to get service from a local bike shop. This dude has no concept how to run a bike shop.

Shop in small, older building in the Kananwha City section of Charleston. Stock full of Cannondale, Trek and Scott bicycles. Large selecion of components, clothing and shoes. Great place to test ride bikes on the neighborhood streets of Kanwaha Ctiy.

Customer Service

Shop in older building in Kanawha City (one of the most prominent areas of Charleston!) Large selection of bikes, components, clothing and shoes.

Customer Service

In a word - Fantastic! Sales experiences always favorable. Bike tech's on board are very good. If they don't have exactly what you need or want - they will get it for you.

We have bought 6 bikes from Bill at this shop, not to mention scores of clothes, shoes and bike "stuff". You couldn't ask for anyone with more knowledge about the products he sells.

Fairly straightforward shop. I think the guy there said they were the biggest in the area. Actual store is packed with bikes, clothes, accessories, etc. The shopping area is a bit small because of this. It is in Kanawha City, not the wealthiest place in the world.

Customer Service

I went there to buy a bike. They had the only price it was going for so I bought it. The sales rep kept telling me the bike I wanted was his last and that it wouldn't last the rest of the week. I doubted that, the bike I bought was average and no one needs to be pressured that way.

Also, I was younger than the sales rep by about half so I did get that "I don't want to deal with this kid" type vibe. It wasn't very pronouced but maybe the younger ones can understand what I mean by this.

The sales rep said service was $7 to true a tire, very cheap from what I've found. Service rates must be decent.

I don't have too much experience with shops so I'll just give it an average rating (3/5)
