As stated by the previous two reviewers, Indian Cycle is a large shop with a wide selection of bikes and related products. They have been in the Jackson area for more than the 15 years that I have lived here. I think their longevity alone speaks for the quality of the service and products they provide.

Customer Service

I have always been treated with respect by their employees, who have answered all of even my most mundane questions with a smile and a helpful response. I bought my last two bikes there and will return to shop there for a new set of wheels in the next few years or so.

My most recent purchase was a demo 2008 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert. Greg, the salesman who sold me the bike, was very helpful in aiding me to choose a bike that was the best fit for me and my riding style. I was split between the Epic and the Stumpjumper, and it was Greg who suggested I go the route of the Stumpy, as I do enjoy tearing up a downhill trail every now and then. I have ridden all over Wyoming, Tennesse, and Mississippi in the past three years, and I couldn't be happier with my Stumpy's performance, and am grateful for his guidance in making the decision to buy the Stumpy over the Epic. I am sure that the past three years would have been not nearly as enjoyable had I bought the epic, as I would be afraid to take an Epic down some of the trail that I have ridden in Wyoming this summer. I will certainly return to Indian Cycle in a couple years for my next bike purchase, depending on how long my Stumpjumper holds out.

Indian Cycle is a phenomenal bike shop. It's big and has a great selection of bikes and accessories that will pretty much cover anyones riding tastes, whether it's mountain biking, road racing, just cruising, so on and so on.
They also carry a very nice selection of fitness equipment and attached to the store is the Sportique which carries great outdoors and sports clothing.

Customer Service

The customer service is second to none and I know so from many personal experiences with this shop. The negative review that was written further down can honestly be ignored. The writer is either just trolling or has no idea what he is talking about.
I've bought 2 bikes, 1 frame and many parts or accessories from these guys and everything was always as it should be. The professional fitting is definitely a plus and is a big help to get your bike dialed in for you.
Every single time I enter the store I'm greeted by the very friendly staff, even if I'm not planning on buying something at the moment. Always eager to talk bike and help out with any questions you may have, this group is a real pleasure to deal with!
They even went so far and helped me solve some issues a couple of times, with items and parts that I didn't even purchase at the store. Never charging me for it and never seeming to mind. Most shops will not do so!

Indian Cycle has a little bit of everything for your cycling needs. They cover mountain biking, road biking, triathlon and your average rider. They have a great selection of merchandise.

Customer Service

I have never had a bad experience. The employees are friendly and knowledgable. I had a fit problem on my bike and their certified fitter, Jayce Powell solved my problem. NO more pain :) Joseph Howe is the head mechanic and knows his stuff. These guys ride bikes and are very active in the community as well.

I disagree with the last poster. I highly recommend going by and visiting these guys if you have a chance. They are listed as one of Americas best bike shops for a reason!

I stopped by this shop the other day to check out a bike. When you pull into the parking lot you will be impressed with the size of the building, and once you step inside you will be even more impressed with the high-end bike inventory, and their excellent selection of merchandise. They have lots of eye candy.

You will not be impressed however, when you take a look at their prices. They tack on an additional $200 over the manufactured suggested retail price (MSRP) on their bikes! They justify the ultra-high price because they claim that their bikes are professionally assembled, they offer a professional fit, and they provide a 30-day tune-up. I found that their inflated prices were not justified for several reasons. I test rode three different bikes with the following results: none of the three bikes shifted properly, one had a saddle that was significantly tilted downward, and another had a front wheel that was rubbing the fork! The truly sad thing is that they knew I was coming, and had 2 hours to prepare! So much for the professional assembly. Also, the salesman made several comments that were untrue, the mechanics were rude, and seemingly inept.

Go shop there if you enjoy paying hundreds of dollars over MSRP.
