It's a scam business! Buyers beware. Don't patronize these deadbeats. I ordered an item in early November, attracted by its low internet price. A week later I received an order confirmation email msg and as of today, 2 weeks after the confirmation msg, I've received no shipment, no tracking number, etc., although my credit card was charged. Of the 4 email msgs and 2 phone calls I've placed to the retailer, just 2 of the email msgs have been answered, both with single-sentence ambiguous "content-free" replies. Today I raised a dispute with my credit card company and fortunately they will withhold payment from the losers at Green Tire Bike Shop.

Customer Service

The worst I've ever experienced - really. I think they're emulating the behavior patterns I'd expect of the DMV in the old Soviet Union.

Well, they had the best price, which is why I chose them - go figure!

Customer Service

I ordered a bike rack in May - it wasn't able to ship until mid June (they only told me this after checkout) and that was too late. So I canceled the order and they sent the rack and charged me anyway.

Stupidly, I returned the rack (as a good person would do). That was in June and I am still waiting on a credit card refund for $380.

I don't have to go into how much $380 means to a graduate student who happens to be a serious cyclist. That is 5 race weekend entry fees, 6 gatorskins, 3 team kits, a bad ass aero-helmet, a set of pit wheels or hey, my December rent!

I have called, emailed and pestered to the point where I am annoyed. Jason (the apparent manager) usually replies and says that they'll sort it out. I also spoke to Nashawn who took my cc number and was supposed to refund me (hahahahahahaha) that didn't happen.

I'm not sure whether they are intentionally stealing or just incredibly badly organized. Either way. Avoid. Not worth your time. If I paid myself $10 every time I wasted my time calling or emailing them, I'd probably have my $380 back by now.

I ordered one, ONE single rim from them, just to feel them out. Took the free shipping option. Website says, 'orders leave within 3-5 days.' and free shipping should take 4-12 days. Well those days expired, and I emailed for status and got excuses, and FINALLY received my ONE stinking rim after a MONTH.
What is the point of going into business if you don't want to actually conduct business?

This place has issues, I would not recommend.

Customer Service

Worst online buying experience I've ever had to date - alleged prices are not worth your time - especially considering you won't actually get anything. Waste of time in the truest sense.

Customer Service

After 3 weeks of not receiving so much as an order status I proceeded to call to inquire: once, twice, three times - left voice mails. Emailed: once, twice, three times. No response. Still had not received anything. Filed dispute with Paypal, they were unable to reach anyone. Filed Claim with Paypal, the shop refused to respond to them as well.

Luckily, Paypal buyer protection is for real and the only positive thing I can say about the experience was that I got my money back, no thanks to Green Tire. And really that isn't a positive because I'll never get back the time that I spent trying to simply get what I paid for.

Purchased something online and never received it. It doesn't matter how many times you try to call them or send an e-mail, you WILL be ignored. I very much recommend not purchasing anything, ever from this shop.

Customer Service

There is no customer service. At least not if you buy anything from their website. I can't imagine that they are any better in person. I don't see how they continue to stay in business. I guess they hope enough people buy something small, never receive it and give up trying to get a hold of them so they can keep your money. People are catching on. Just do a search on these guys. Filed a complaint with the MN BBB and going to the bank to get a Chargeback tomorrow.

Wish I could give no chillies or negative chillies. Maybe MTBR should give this option for things like this. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. If you want to give them a chance, just try calling them first. I guarantee the will not answer.

Never personally visited the shop, but attempted to order online as excellent prices were advertised. I place an order online and my credit card was immediately charged. To make a long story short I never received my order and even requested a refund. After 30 days passed, my credit company did credit my account pending review.

Customer Service

Horrible. A person named Jason responded to some of the emails regarding my order with very vague comments. I even sent an email explaining that I needed my order by a specific and the response was "Ah Okay".

Really not sure what is going on with Green Tire and what their motives are??? Maybe it was software issues billing credit cards immediately. Maybe they are just bad business people and getting in over their head, but intentionally or unintentionally act of billing before shipping is wrong and their customer service is horrible.

Don't bother. What seems like a good deal will result in a month of waiting before they just refund your credit card without informing you.
They really need to get their act together.

They get a middle ground 3 for technical expertise just because I never asked a technical question, so I can't give them a rating for that.
