I have never walked into the actual store. I contacted the shop about a mountain bike rental over the phone and through email. Customer Service Originally, the service was good. I got a prompt response through e-mail and it seemed that everything was set up for them to deliver the bike to my hotel. The day of the delivery nobody showed up with the bike. I tried getting a hold of them and could not get an answer. I sent them an email canceling my reservation and notifying them of what had happened and I am still waiting for their response. Similar Products Used: I cannot recommend this bike shop as they left me waiting for a promised service. |

If you are looking for people who really ride, know what they are talking about, are willing to help, and will support you to the nth degree to get you out the door and riding - this is the place to go. To get me on the road on my weekend escape from northern snows these guys came in early, hooked me up with great wheels, and met me way late in the day to grab the wheels back so I could catch a flight. They are supportive, knowledgeable, and just downright kind. I am most grateful and would recommend this shop to anyone, for anything! Customer Service As stated earlier - above and beyond! Similar Products Used: Great guys, great shop, great service, great wheels. What else is there to say? |

I actually visit this shop more than once per week, but I didn't have that option in the dropdown list.
Customer Service Customer service is great. I've never had any sort of customer service issue with this shop and I've been going there for a few years now. From the first time I visited I was treated like I was one of the Cactus Crew, and the service has always been outstanding. |

Cactus Bikes is the best LBC near South Mountain, and the ONLY place I shop. I'm surprised at Crash/whatever/ouch's comment below, because Fish is an incredibly nice guy, and the reason I shop at Cactus. I think Crash needs to call whine-one-one for the whambulance. I've had nothing but good experiences with the shop. Customer Service No pressure, easy-going you'll get what you need and good advice. Similar Products Used: Cactus Bikes Rocks! |

Excellent mechanics on hand. Competitive pricing if you know exactly what you want regarding parts and especially labor. Nice people that are willing to point you in the direction needed for your style of riding. Customer Service Very good, for every part that I have broken an affordable, DURABLE, replacement has been offered. The shop services an area of Phoenix that is saturated with trails, so if you are the last ticket in the repair stand it is only luck of the draw. Similar Products Used: Prices may be cheaper online, but when labor and repairing the initial install attempt is considered, you will probably break even and have less of a headache if you visit Cactus to purchase parts that need to be installed. If the price difference is too insane for the shop to match, at least ask about all the parts that are needed before going to have them installed. It is common sense and our duty as INFORMED shoppers. |

I have received nothing but stellar experiences in my dealing with Cactus Bike. I am not on the payroll (as one reviewer suggested), but felt compelled to write after reading some of the comments here. The shop is sometimes busy, and frequented by some of the best riders out there Customer Service Fish, Fish and more Fish. I cannot think of anyone else that I have dealt with that has not been as friendly, helpful, and downright genuine as Fish. Another awesome guy in the 'tukee town shop is Steve-O, who also has been helpful when I've come into the shop just to buy a spare tube, or look at the balance bikes with my toddler in tow. Similar Products Used: I use Cactus exclusively, and originally heard about them through word-of-mouth. I've never felt that they tried to sell me anything I didn't need, and I am always impressed with the technical expertise. I continue to recommend them to my friends and colleagues, and in my humble British opinion, they are the best Local Bike Shop in the valley. |

When you first walk into the shop it is like most shops. Lots of new bikes. Mostly BMX and cruisers (chandler shop). Not too much variety of Mt Bikes or components. While they can order anything you want (good luck getting what you want). Over all the Shop is plain. Customer Service SUCKS, SUCKS, SUCKS, did I mention it SUCKS. Similar Products Used: I am done with this shop, I used to be a very loyal customer, spending at least $1500 or more per year at the shop. But after this last incident where my bike was in the shop for 4 weeks (no customer follow-up, promises of I will call you back, etc, etc). The bike was never fixed, the part was on order or so they said. I picked up my bike took it to a compeditor and by the next day it was fixed and I was riding my bike again. |
