After 2 years of R&D, CHUMBA Racing based out of Anaheim, California, released our newest addition to the line up. The VF2 - named after our CNC machine - will fill the role of the light weight, race-inspired, cross-country bike. Coming in at an astounding weight of just 5.8lbs. with shock - the VF2 is one of the lightest bikes in its class.
Some of its features include:
- Custom made hydrofromed, butted top tube and flared manipulated down tube
- Full carbon fiber rear end
- Anodized aluminum hardware
- Bead blasted anodized finish
- Accepts 120 - 150mm forks
- 5 inches of rear wheel travel
CHUMBA will be offering this bike with various build options - and the bike can be easily built in the 25-26 lb. range. MSRP for the bike is yet to be determined. We will be offering more information shortly after Interbike.
