ROCKPORT PARK TRAILS - TRAIL

ROCKPORT PARK TRAILS - Trail, JANESVILLE, Wisconsin

Part of extensive City of Janesville Parks System. This system serves as cross country trails system in the winter so the trails are wide and fast. Several short, steep, but entirely makeable climbs can be encountered on any loop. Trails are mostly hard-packed with some rocky downhills. Trails are open to hikers and bikers so use caution.

Nice little trail to ride on. You have to know where to find the good single track. Basically just go on the main trails till you find one. Some of the nicer Mountain Bike trails are towards the back of the park. It took me about 2 seasons of adventuring to find all the trails cut back there.

Customer Service

Basically if your down by the East entrance follow the trail that has the big hill right when you cross the bridge. If you keep going straight you'll see some slightly rocky downhill. Just follow that guy until you find some single track. Hop on it and explore.

The rock port bike park is an incredible unknown bike park full of single track trails and bigger but u have to know where to look. the single track trails are free ride and are a challenge even to experienced riders you just have to know where to look.

Customer Service

from rock ports play ground go down the hill on the paved trail. Or if you are on the bike trail follow into rock port until you see the sign with the trail names. fallow the bigger trail across the bridge and to a trail on the left YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THE HILL FROM THE TRAIL. it is a single track bike trail follow this throwout the park when you come to a big trail (while on the single track) just continue on across it to find the continued trail this will go on a couple time after that. best place to mtb there

New Single track cut in this year. It adds about a mile or two to the 5 or so miles in the park already. Not any where near the trails of Kettle Moraine south or even Cam Rock, but if you are in town it is worth a ride. The paved City bike path feeds right to the single track. You can ride to it from pretty much anywhere town

Trails well there are some if you know some one. If you dont tuff. The trails that are here are undergoing a make over. Old trail being closed and new being cut. The park will prsicute any one not authorized to be biulding trail. Sweetest single track I have ridden.

There's no trails in Janesville. Forget everything you've heard, forget everything you MAY have seen. There's nothing there. The biker sightings you may have heard about must have been commercial aircraft or the northern lights. There is no such thing as bikers in Janesville.

Customer Service

None...these trails don't exist. Forget what you heard, there's no trails.

Similar Products Used: None...Janesville and Southern Wisconsin has nothing to offer for bikers so please stay away.

Not a grueling trail by any means but it has a couple of short sections of singletrack that are not to bad. More of a scenic trail than anything else.

Customer Service

Afton Rd. trail head. Take a left on trail over the bridge and hit the large hill. Keep going left until you hit the singletrack.

Yes this trail is a little boring, if you don't know where to look. There is some really tight singletrack that was cut last summer. It is off the main trail. It is not very long but it is real fun.

Customer Service

Take Rockport road right into the trail.
