Nothing technical to speak of, except maybe the downhill section composed of pebbles a foot deep. Some good ups and downs, plenty of Wisco rocks and roots and beautiful scenery. I rate it highly because I like chill rides through the woods.

Customer Service

We parked at the north lot and rode east, which would spit you out on the fire road back to the parking lot at the end of the loop.

This is not a bad trail. Everyone gives it bad reviews because it is not technical, but there really aren't too many technical places around here. It's got a lot of uphill, nothing too hard. Some short downhills but not too steep. Some rocks, some roots, some logs, but not that many. A good trail to have fun in with great views. I would recommend it. If you are looking technical stuff, however, this is not the place, but it is fun for a chill bike ride with good views.

I did the Ice Age/Stankie Basin Route.

Cross-country ski trail expect nothing more. Quite the workout if you are looking for some climbs a couple of down hill parts but nothing technical. Good for a workout, but you would be better off just hiking the hiking trails as they are much better than the ski trails.

Customer Service

The only trail there is.

This trail is OK, Not great but still fun. There are some good hills to grind up and fly down and a couple jumps if you like. Nothing technical though, anyone could ride this but some might have to push up the hills. Pretty good views in spots.

Customer Service

Park at the Ice Age trail lot and go left. trail is doubletrack, but has a singletrack line through it.

devils lake loop trails are the reason i fell in love with mountain biking ice age loop is about 4.4 miles 2 up two down perfect for an after work ride or ride a couple times for a good weekender the frist time i rode these trails i absolutly fell in love with the sport they are just the right amount of pain vs reward (hill climbing and fast technical downhilling )good for beginner to expert riders lower loops for the beginers and the higher up the bluff for the strong winded

Customer Service

ride the loops forward or back they are equally hill and downhill

Not a whole lot of trails, but if you are going to Devil's Lake (and you should for other reasons), take your MTB just to check the trails out. Then go hiking on the bluffs, or swim in the clear lake water! It's absolutely beautiful.

OK, back to the MTB trails... They are very hilly, but completely UN-technical. Take your non-mtb'n spouse here to break them in nice and gradual-like. The hills will challenge you for their length, but not for their treacherous rocks or stumps (there are none). The scenery is nice, the hiking is breathtaking, and the lake is a refreshing cap for whatever you decide to do.

This trail is a drag. One big hill, no technical work, and it is the only trail you can ride in the park. The camping and hiking is great but forget your bike if you are a serious cyclist.

Customer Service

Just get a campsite, forget biking.
