I try to ride this trail every day on lunch hour, since it runs behind my office building. The paved trails are boring, but make a fast way to get to the more fun stuff. My favorite part is at the opposite end from Celebration park. If you cross the street from the trail head on SW 356th St, you get to a section of dual and single track that is fun to play on, (it's my reward for riding the rest of the trail fast enough to have time to play in the dirt). Once you get down to NW 16th you run out of trail, or at least it's posted "no trespassing" and "beware of dog". Bummer, 'cause at that point youre just a little way from the hils that lead to the port of Tacoma. There are some pretty cool singletrack offshoots from the main trail as well. on one, I can just hop the curb of the parking lot behind the office and I'm on a cool little trail with logs and roots and a steep, loamy-soiled downhill that is fun trying not to kill yourself on. I have an 18" scar on the back of my leg from a log that reached out and grabbed my pedal. In another offshoot, some folks have built a couple of jumps after a good fast downhill that can keep you entertained if you're so inclined. I still haven't found the claimed "North Shore" area, but I'm sure I haven't explored everything there is to see. If you can give good directions to some fun stuff, I'd be forever greatful!

Start at Celebration Park and enjoy the pavement or start at the SW 356th street trailhead and cross the street to the dirt. You can also ride paralel to much of the pavement on double- and single track on either side of the official, paved BPA trail.

Quet short, not much up there. When you get in, there are some tough decents and long rocky downhills, its a good trail for begghiners and BMXers. Its pretty easy, but CAN be challengindg sometimes

This "trail" is lame. Level of difficulty is zero. When you have moms pushing strollers on your trail, you'll know when it's reached the lowest level.

We usually try to go daily or at least 4 times a week. We are beginners and this route is a killer when you are not used to the hills. especially coming from 356st down to the Aqua. center. Going back up is very difficult. I still haven't done it without a rest. Thou if you are a used to biking then you probably can do it. There are lots of different paths to take from this route, just explore we are still doing that. We really like this one even if its tough for us beginners.
