This trail is great, I have heard it called a lot of different things but the most common now is LODI Trail. If you do a little research, FAMBE.org has mapped it and provided a great PDF.

The trail is excellent for an all natural trail. Its marked, but I found myself doubling back because I dropped my map and came to a Novice shortcut, which ended up taking me on the back half twice. But with some semi-decent navigation skills you should be golden.

Trail is great, lots of different challenges for all levels of riders, I say that because if it seems easy... go faster! Lots of hills and thrills. Oh and loaded with SPIDERS! So if thats an issue, let your buddy go first and get that extra protein.

This map here doesn't give the right entry point, but if your coming from Route 3 its the right DIRECTLY after the tracks. If you go down the road to the gravel road like in the map here, you'll be welcomed by dogs that like to chase you so watch it.

Again no one has wrote a review of this trail in 3 years but it keeps getting better with every year that passes. It's hard to believe that with all the people that ride here and rave about Hollywood that they don't review it. Well OK it has something for every one, beginners may fine some areas a little much but there's always hike a bike, but only for short distances and even for those who have spent a good bit of time turning cranks it has its challenges. This is private property and there is a $5 donation to help pay taxes, and all the work done here is volunteer, an awesome place to ride, 15 minutes from Fredericksburg..

Awesome ride today - very refreshing to find a lengthy, technical trail that is as interesting/entertaining at first as it is all the way to the finish. Very well done - lots of spider webs (late Sept 2010) but certainly worth checking out if you're anywhere close to the area. Wore me out! Get out there and enjoy it.

Rode this trail for the first time yesterday. What an amazing trail. It literally has something to offer everyone. Tight twisty singletrack that really requires you to pay attention to roots and the trees you are passing, several hills that will test your endurance and root skills at the same time, fast rhythm sections, obstacles, etc. Very fun. I would highly recommend to people in the area. Definitely worth the $5 admission fee. Well maintained.

Customer Service

Head to the right at the entrance and keep following the trail arrows. There are a couple spots where you stop and need to figure out which way to go, but if you pay attention to the way the trail is heading you should get through those few spots pretty easily. My first try I managed to make all the right decisions.

It's been a year and things are getting better here all the time. It was a bad winter here but some how they managed to build more trails. The first few times I tried to ride here things looked bad, trees down every where and the trails were under 2" of water but when it all dried out I was pleased the find thing were better then ever, more trials and better trial. So thats my up date. LIVE TO RIDE !!

Great trail. Great trail ride a day after a rain. Stays dry. It rain an inch yesterday. And I say like maybe two pudles. Couple of challanging climbs.A little easier than fountian head. Trail get a little hard to follow.I ended up finding myself riding up to people's houses more then once. But That might be because of the the amount of leaves covering the trail this time of year.

The trail has become shorter from the time I first started using it, but still a blast to ride. On a technical level, it not too challenging, but you can't go ripping through here either like Wakefield. There are roots, lots of roots, so make sure your tires are aired up. There are a lot of back and forth sections to the trail that the designers did to add distance, but it adds to the challenge. This is a great place for beginners to learn to "read" the trial, and for experienced riders to practice look troughs and pacing through the turns, because there are a lot of them.

One last note, don't be an a$$ hat and ride the trail commando style, fill out the waiver, pay your fee! This is private property, the person who owns it has allowed MTB use for years, so long as the riders remain respectful and adhere to the few rules that are in place. If you see an older woman, or other "civilians", be respectful please, and say hello, thank them for the use, and if your local, or with in a short commute, call the local bike shops and ask when the next trial maint day is.

Customer Service

Take Rt 3 East, turn left onto Hollywood Farm Road, red gate on the right after the train tracks. If gate is CLOSED, do NOT enter. This is private property, and the owners are hunters, and skeet shooters. Pass a closed gate, and you are likely to get an a$$ full of buckshot.

A few years have gone by and no one has reviewed this trail but I have only been in this area a short time and this trail has seen some changes. I would have to say all in all its a dam good trail for the area its in, King George and Staford are on the flat side. But there are some desent elevation changes at this site and the locals have been working hard to make this trail a work out and I think thay have done a fine job. Its well worth checking out, something for most everone. If you haven't been here in some time go back and check it out they have cut all new trails.

This park is still open and well maintained. It's great. The trails are pretty cool and it's a nice place. It's not too difficult or too boring. It costs like $5 or something. I believe that this park goes by another name (Lodi Farm) where they currently hold an annual race ( http://teambikeworks.org/ ).

this is one of the best trails in the area!
severl 6-8inch logs. 1 or 2 12inch ramped logs.
many switchbacks, lots of roots. there are 2 or 3 steep and
rooty hills! (pretty hard but not impossible)
this trail is more technical than most in this area,
but not so technical that it slows you down too much.
the trail is not that long but you can ride it several times
in different directions. this gives me a great and fun workout!
remember to leave no trace!

i gave it an arobic rating of 3. it could be more for you if you ride the loop several times.

Customer Service

start out by the parking area.
follow the first trail down to the bridge across the stream.
immediatly after the bridge take a right turn.
follow the main outside loop. the trail will eventually loop back to the stream. there are also several connecting trails that run through the middle of the loop. try them out. if you go back across the stream on that same bridge, take a right. (to get back to the parking area take a left) this right turn leads you to another set of trails.
Have Fun!!
