TCC - TRAIL

TCC - Trail, Portsmouth, Virginia

Slightly overgrown (but the more we ride it the better it will get). Pretty flat and easy, but a fast trail. Needs to be ridden and modified.

the Above map does NOT represent where this Trial (aka EPA clean up site)

the map shows another college campus in Downtown Portsmouth Va.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRAIL OR YOU COULD FIND YOURSELF AT THE BUSINESS END OF A STATE OFFICIALS HANDGUN as I did.

I Highly recommend that you DO NOT go to this area, I was Arrested there this past spring and spend my whole summer on probation, not only that but its just flat overgrown land or old busted up asphault roads.

This is a former ordnance disposal site and is closes to public. There are not trespassing signs everywhere. I went in to check it out and all I can say is ticks, ticks, ticks. There are no ridable trails in the area I was able to locate. All of the roads are overgrown with weeds. Do not waste you time here you will not be happy after the hour it will take you getting all of the ticks off.

i attempted to go to this trail today, but there's signs that say no trespassing, its apprently a enviromental cleaup area now, and restricted to government vehicles. its up to you if you want to ignore the signs but as far as i'm concerned this trail is not usable

Here's the deal: I've been trying to revive this trail that once existed. The land is an old Ordnance Depot (Nansemond Ordnance depot, to be exact) so there are delapidated buildings and all kinds of stuff back there... but nobody is in any hurry to build or even check what's going on back there. I have never had anybody say anything to me for going back there, people are always fishing back there anyway. There aren't very many jumps or drops or anything yet (yet!) but the trail is getting better and longer...
