Two Tortoise Trail - TRAIL

Two Tortoise Trail - Trail, Moab, Utah

In this direction, you will get mostly downhill rocky ledges and drop offs. It is a fast trail with little climbing. Almost all of the trail is on rock and hard dirt. The end of the trail connects with 4wd Gold Bar rim road. This portion has alot of sand but once you connect back to the main Gemini Road it is plain 4wd road.

I was able to ride this trail twice, clockwise and counter-clockwise. Both ways seems equally fun. The trail elevation change is basically like a "V", downhill at the beginning and climb at the end. This trail is partially 4x4 trail with a little singletrack. It's fairly easy with a nice downhill with many many ledges. Near the bottom when you're below Two Tortoise, it may be hard to find the trail. You need to look for cairns.

Either way is fine. But it can be hard to find the trail beginning if you go counter-clockwise.
