So we got to the trail and it looked good. My wife and I started with the Blue "Ranger" trail. It was a nice beginning to get us used to the semi-tacky conditions. Then we hopped off that to the Orange or "Wolverine" trail. It was a little more technical. A few drops and tight turns between trees, nothing too bad. What is nice is that the Red and Orange trails come back to the Blue trail that goes around the entire park.

BUT, when you get to the back end of the Blue trail and start heading into the clearings, WATCH OUT FOR GRASSHOPPERS!!! This is mid-September, and I know those buggers are still around, I just didnt think there would be so many of them. Towards the middle of the run in the clearings, I think I got hit by a grasshopper every time I turned the crank. I can understand a few hoppers here and there, but they were ALL over the trails and in my face. I had to clean my tires off after running over about 40 of them.

Overall, nice trails, just not during bug season.
