Windmill Hill Park - TRAIL

Windmill Hill Park - Trail, Dallas, Texas

This is a very nice little park, and the home of the Stevie Ray Vaughn Memorial Bridge. Some very steep hills both up and down, not always giving a lot of traction. A real challenge at times. Not very long, but an interesting little trail. Very pretty wooded areas that give you some shade from the sun, and some whoop-de-doos that the kids have made for their BMX bikes that you can have some fun on also.

I don't get it. I can see riding this if this is your hometown trail or something... but then again... Cedar Hill is right down the road! Sorry to 'dis the trail but it is what it is I guess :-(

There are some good downhills with some very technicals parts. VERY Well mantained. The whoop-de-doos arre good for a change of pace and a little fun.

Customer Service

There are many trails, but they all end up looping back in the general area of The Stevie Ray Vaghn Memorial Bridge. So, pick your favorite direction and take off.

Wow What a great little trail!!! There is hardly ever anyone there! This area is a rat maze but, it is very killer!!! There are some very very steep downhills here so if you ready to rock, be ready to roll(if your not careful)! Lots of dirt & rocks to make your life hell!!! Overall I'm very impressed! It's fun!!! If your a novice, make sure you check things out before you go for it or you could get hurt! One of the best short tracks around this area

Fun trail to learn on. Never crowded, even on weekends.
Not very hard but good trail to work on climbing skills
and some technical areas.

This is a fun liitle trail, but I don't think I would drive that far for it. If you live near by it would be great for a quick workout. It does have a few little tight spots and some fast sections, try to find the trick bikes playground for some jumps and such.

Fun for about 1/2 hr, then i got bored. Worth it if you are within pedaling distance to the trailhead, or like jumping bmx for fun.

Customer Service

Been road riding for years, just started riding off road. That being said, enjoyed the trail. Not too tough, but certainly some challenging uphills and downhills. Not crowded, just a little small. You can get a decent little workout though.

Customer Service

Intersecting trails, no specific loop or direction.
Several dead ends, be prepared to reverse thy direction.
