spaghetti is the one word to describe this trail. Not a bad trail, just difficult to find the flowey routes unless you ride it all the time. Squarely in the middle of the rides around middle TN so far as favorites.

This is a great XC trail! The trail is mostly single track and has a couple of fireroad sections. The trail is always in tip top shape, the maintainer is wonderful. I think the trail is about 13 miles in length and has just a few mild hilly sections, most of them are on a portion named "Bob's Trail", this section is lots of fun. The trail is marked really well which makes it hard to get lost, you start at marker 1 and end just after marker 25. There are usually maps of the trail under the MTB sign at the trail head.

Nice trail. I read that it was tight. That's not what I would call it. It does have a few tight spots, but a lot of it is pretty open. Most of the climbing is pretty gentle. 'Bob's trail' is not. It has the steepest climbs in the system. Great trail if you don't have much/any suspension or you're a weak climber. Well, it's really a nice trail regardless. I ride a Santa Cruz Nomad, and I still had plenty of fun. Technically easy, and aerobically more difficult than a greenway, it gets a decent score because it is still fun. I've been on difficult trails that were no fun at all. This one is easy and fun. Kinda like Booker T Washington in Chat.

Customer Service

Numerical order if you can find all the placards. I got turned around in the neighborhood of 15 and found myself at Bob's. Rode around in Bob's Trail for a while before I figured out where I was and which way I was pointed.

This is a really nice place to ride (very XC).
Lots of miles, enough to get in a ride and nothing too challenging.
It does have an interesting mix of terrain.
No big climbs, just lots of little rollers.
Plenty of deer munching & snorting when I popped out & surpised them.

Customer Service

Start from left & go clockwise & follow the trail numbers.

This trai is a 14 mile loop, all fun, ranging from tight turns through the woods to fast straights on old roads, there is a section along the lake and a section named "Bob's Trail" with 10 short hill climbs in 2.3 miles.

Customer Service

Start at the trail head parking lot, the "AEDC Saddle Club" lot. Ride out pass the "MTR TRAIL" bulletin board. In 50 yards the trail forks, you can ride either direction, but the left fork, clock-wise, has numbers on trees that are in sequence. There is a standing Tuesday morning ride at 08:00, usually 4-8 riders, ride time around 1 hour 30 minutes.
