Hidden Hills - TRAIL

Hidden Hills - Trail, Hermitage, Tennessee

The Trails here are a combination of exactly what you need to train for a race, there are also great trails for average riders as well. ONE of the BEST hill climbs you'll find in this area on dirt, better than Hamilton creek, you'll also find technical wonders here to challenge you like Hamilton creek, but way around them if your not up to the challenge ... I couldn't belive this trail and kept it quite for a year, but had to start sharing. The land owner doesn't mind people riding there and I've talked to the people in the neighborhood and several ride and love having people helping keep the trails clear ... We need to have a work day out there to help keep it up and I think they'll let us clear some more trail. It would be nice to have a second option out on this side of town besides Hamilton.

I like this area, I live down the street. I have hiked and biked the area, some very fast sections. Could use some of the trails to link up better, could use some work in that area, the trails themselves are very nice ... not nearly the problem with wash off and rutting that you find at Hamilton Creek.
DIRECTIONS- Take 40 to Hermitage EXIT - stay with exit till it dumps you into OLD HICKORY BLVD - Stay on OHB till you come to ANDREW JACKSON - Turn RIGHT onto Andrew Jackson (at the BP) - go about a block and turn RIGHT onto OLD LEBANON DIRT ROAD - TURN IMMEDIATELY LEFT onto CHANDLER - Follow Chandler until you come to the STOP LIGHT at TULIP GROVE - Turn LEFT onto TULIP GROVE and follow it until you come to LEESA ANN (about a quarter of a mile) - Go to STOP SIGN (about quarter mile) - TURN LEFT at Stop Sign - go 100 feet Turn RIGHT and follow till it dead ends. You can park on the side of the road. There is an open grass area on the right, you can park there on the side of the road. I wouldn't park in the grass, that's someone's yard. They don't seem to mind you parking on the road and riding. Once you know where you are going, you could actually park on the side of the road just as you turn onto Leesa ANN and ride to the trail head.
Check it out, it's got some fun stuff back in there.

I'll be back, this was a good ride with I don't know how many miles of trail. I went with a buddy and we both had radio's and got so far apart we lost connection at one point.

Customer Service

I liked it, thanks for posting this trail I'll be back. I parked on the road on Lisa Ann. Road in from there.

I read the reviews and decided to try this trail on Oct 1, 2000. When I got to the trail head there were three huge boulders and a sign that said KEEP OUT NO TRESPASSING. I either went to the wrong trail head or this baby's been closed. If I went to the wrong place please respond.

I rode this trail about a month ago. I only live about 5 miles from the trail, and think that is even too far to drive to this trail. Maybe I wasn't on the trail, but all I saw was grown up areas in the middle of a housing development. Every time I thought the trail was beginning I would come out in an open area with a bunch of cut-down trees. Very frustrating day to say the least. Oh well....I tried. Someone let me know if I missed the trail. I went to the left after parking. Tried the right, up the hill, but the trail ended soon.

Customer Service

Same as above.

I rode this trail on oct. 12th. It seems there is a lot of clear cut going on back there. where is the trail? Is it single track or double? O rode for about an hour riding avery place i could go. I myself got sick of the trail sections that would end or come out into an opening. I think I might go out one more time to do some more exploring.

Customer Service

same as others

If there is anything left I'll post a new site called hidden hills-2 here so you'll all notice it. I don't think the prospects are good though ... I walked it last week and didn't find much left, though there maybe something on the other side if I can get through there without being shot.

Customer Service

This trail is toast -- there is a construction crew there ruining another prime trail. I will look to see if I can find anything left, but it looks to be toast
