Well it looks like Our bike trail is going to be closed for sewer work this summer which is a inconvenience for Me. Being as I use it for transportation as much a recreation. Oh well I was planning to tour this summer anyways, this meens I'll be learning the bike lanes.

Well i hate to say this but in SD theres all these narly sweet mountains and great huge trails... oh wait im in the plains oh well, this is the only trail around but it is paved but in about a 6 mile long park theres some okay off-trails nothing to extreme but its fun. i would recomend falls park to freeride i do alot. I wouldnt come here just to ride the trail but if you need something to do when your here come and visit it it is aprx 21 miles long. nothing to break a sweat to but its enjoyable.

Who put this paved trail on Mtbr.com? I thought it was a mountain bike website.

This trail is KILLER...I can't believe how much it rips...I even saw a couple dudes doing it in ROLLERBLADES...that's KORE. There is switchbacks, kind of, rollers, not really and water fountains every 4 miles...I think every trail should be paved...this is such a great IDEA. Take the wife and kid carrier and try to dodge all the retarded "mountain bikers" on their base-model Gary Fishers they bought from Scheel's 4 years ago and still haven't gotten them dirty...FYI "mountain bike retards" or "retards on road bikes" when we real Mt. bikers pass you we always say "ON YOUR LEFT", or "ON YOUR RIGHT"....not "Look out with that trailer, dude"...for real I'm pulling my kid and my wife is in front of me with her dirty Specialized, and some jackoff flys by and says, "look out with the trailer"...sorry I didn't have eyes in the back of my head so I could get out of your way...oh yeah, and if this is you reading this...my wife says you looked like a queer in the tights.

bike trails - pretty boring, but if you are trying to get in shape its a great ride. For a little fun I usually ride up the street to tut hill. Its fun to ride down the hill as fast as you can or take the side trail (with a 2 foot dropoff, on a trail which slopes probably 40 degrees), other then that I wouldnt recommend it unless you want to go for a boring joyride along the dirty river or you need to get some exercise. There is also some loopy trails with some downhill action and some jumps as well. To get there Go to joe foss (3rd and cliff ave) Go one block east, and travel north all the way to the dead end, hop on the trail, go east till you enter "the bull" which is mainly used for motorcycles and atv's but you can have a little fun here. Also would recommend the falls park if you like to do any freeriding (i know its lame, but this part of the country sucks anyway so you're already used to it) A few 3 foot ledges from the granite, also some 4-10 feet drop offs if you wanna go crazy.

Customer Service

I like to get on at 12th in cliff area by the river ride to tut and then backtrack all the way to the falls park

WHat the !!!!!! Paved paths are for WImp who cant handel the ruff terrian of americas backcounrty wilderness splendure! the only reason I would ride this trail is to get to the Single track. The country is dotted with 5,000 trials with single track. Dont wast your time on the wussy paved trails desined for fat lossers and there wanabe Huffys! Ride the ruffest terrian cause you only live once. Dont slow down for the Kookas. ride them over and blast down the hills a 1000 mph, hitting all of the double triple and quadruple jumps and making single and double tabletops off of them withg a few crossups for fun. Ride tell your bike breaks inhalf cause of the stress of riding 349 hours none stop.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hate it when people pave AWESOME, Flawless Tricked out Sigle track! @#$@#@### is what I say to people who ride the Pavement and want more paved paths! AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FAIRLY SENICK, BUT IT IS FLAT AND MADE FOR FAMILYS NOT HARD CORE BIKERS. I WAS HERE ONCE WITH MY OVERWEIGHT GIRL FREIND, CAUSE SHE THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD TRAIL BUT IT WASENT! I THINK THERE IS SOME SINGLE TRACK NEAR THE END OF THE TRAIL TOO.

Customer Service

THIS IS A MTB REVEIW SITE, NOT A STUPID PAVED TRAIL SITE. ALTHOUGH I THINK THERE IS A SMALL SINGLE TRACK SECTION SOMEWHERE BUT I CANT REMEMBER.

Too many people but sometimes the only thing I have time for. Some short sections of dirt branch off of the main trail. For a little fun ride downtown at night and hop over the drunks living under the bridges.
I HOPE THE OTHER REVIEWERS WILL LEARN HOW TO SPELL IN GRADE SCHOOL!!

This trail is paved and goes thru very senic areas next to the river for 7 miles. the trail then goes along golf coarses, the Sioux Falls Zoo and ends next to the airport. This is a point to point to point trail so you have to ride back or leave a car at trials end by Air National Guard road off Minnesota ave. In a few years this will become a 20 mile loop ride. there are many trail heads to enter from or end at with bathrooms and water fountains. A good family ride or conditioning trail. I ride it 6 days a week and as often as weather permits in the winter.

Customer Service

Go to the Sioux River Falls park on Weber ave. Trail starts there and goes for 16.5 miles along the river.
