Spring Mountain Ski Resort - TRAIL

Spring Mountain Ski Resort - Trail, Schwenksville, Pennsylvania

There are a veriaty of trials, from wide open gently sloping service roads that take you to the top of the ski slope, to technical steep climbs and challenging high speed downhills. Soon, hopefully in october 2005, there will be a small freeride park with lots of bridges and "teetor totors" for all you freeride lovers out there. But if your not one for the drops, be sure to check out one of the most fun and challenging cross-country trails in the area. Lots of technical rock gardens, short but technical climbs, and highs speed technical downhills. Yes I know its alot of technical, but believe me, YOU CAN MAKE IT.

Super technical! Must bring helmet and pads! The trails are kind of hidden, but once you find them, its all worth it. Great variety of trails. Xcountry was kind of washed out this year, but still fun, very challenging. It takes you to the top of the mountain where the real fun begins. Lots of obstacles on the downhill trails. Once you ride here, all other trails will seem like childs play! Rumors of lifts being used and terrain parks being built are growing, until then, enjoy free riding.

Customer Service

xcountry starts at top left parking lot, but is hidden due to over-plowing in the winter. its there though, just have to look for it. once your at the top, the trails are around both of the top lits, be patient, they are there. and be very careful, broken bikes and broken faces are common if you arent careful! suggest walking downhill trails before riding them. and lean back!

Similar Products Used: betzwood-very short, greenlane, bearcreek---all seem easy and slightly boring in comparison.

the trails at Spring mountain are some of the best trails around. there is something for everyone including downhill, cross country, and freeride trails. the cross country trail is about 5 miles long and includes alot of technical downs and ups and even some nice flat land rock gardens that will challenge you. the down hill and freeride courses are very technical and contain alot of drops from 1footers to 6 footers. over all this is one of the best places to ride.

Customer Service

for the cross country trail head park in the farthest parking lot on your left by the maggig carpet lift thing. the trail entrence will be right there. for the downhill courses just cimb to the top of spring mountain and look for an entrance off one of the ski trails there are lots.
