The bowl is no longer. Or rather, the Landowner chose to log off this hilltop and while at it, felled several trees across and in the bowl. Not sure if its gone forever, but would take alot o work to reclaim.

Customer Service

the usual. there are still other trails surrounding this area.

the Bowl is no longer rideable. whoever owns this land, logged it off and figured while they were at it, mise well fill 'er in. Several trees are felled rite into it, with the surrounding hill pretty much clear-cutted. Other trails still exsist in area.

Customer Service

Trail leading to it is still fun.

head up the trail from where you parked you'll basically be rideing in a really rockey dranage bed it looks like (bring extra tubes) with some nice deep open crevices to fall into if your not carefull on the sides. Ride this main trail till you hit a stone road that itersects the trail cross the road look for the little single track that crosses the creek cross the creek folow the single track yeah this thing has been abused by dirt bikes so its pretty sloppy at parts but still really fun to ride I think. eventually youll hit a sink hole "the bowl" there is a logging trail behind the bowl head down the trail follow it to another stone road head across the road onto what used to be a sweet tech single track but now that its been loged its a bit differnt but great fun anyway either your gonna get lost and explore this thing or turn around and ride back to your car because ive never found the end i just ride untill i don't feel like it anymore there is a trail along this trial which you will eventually run into that runs paralel to the application trail (app. trail marked with white spray paint flares for those that don't know) that will take you back to wiskey springs if you don't feel like rideing the way you came but its all a matter of preference have fun I know i do when i ride this one.

This trail is AWESOME! The first half (before you cross the road) is nothing but rocks. After you cross the road, it's sweet singletrack! There's a whole bunch of 4 wheelers and dirt bikers that ride the trail and screw it up but it's still pretty cool.

Customer Service

Take Rt. 15 to Mountain Rd. Take Mountain Rd. to Coffetwon Rd. then turn right on Whiskey Spring Rd. Go about a mile and a half and you'll see a dirt road to the left. Park here. Ride your bike back the trail until you get to a dirt road. Go straight across this into the singletrack. If there is no singletrack on teh other side of the road don't worry- you just took a differnt route. In this case, turn left on the road about 1/4 mile. Then turn right onto the singletrack. Keep riding until you get to "The Bowl".

Similar Products Used: "Whiskey Spring Loop". This trail is near "The Bowl". On Coffetown Rd., you'll see a sign on the right that says Dillsburg Fish and Game Commision. Turn in there. The dirt road splits. The trail goes to the left and the firing range is to the right. Since the road to the left (which leads to the trail) is private property you'll want to park up at the firing range. Ride the road that bears to the left even though it says Private Property. At the first chance you have go right. This goes right to the trail. Ride around and it'll come out on Whiskey Spring Rd., just below the entrance to the bowl.
