No jumps. No drops. Unmaintained. Only 2 miles, (1/4 of it is paved.) No uphill walk. In order to go down it again you need to have a shuttle that has to drive 5 to 10 minutes through heavily used main roads. Annoying dogs barking because you ride by several homes.

Customer Service

Don't waste your time.

there is a new trail a little while after you go across the creek. you come up to a big stump along the trail and you go left up the trail and then to the right. you will probably have to walk up a short way. its a new trail and needs as much traffic a posible.

Customer Service

stay on the main trail then towards the end you can do a loop.

This is a good set of trails if you don't want to travel to far out of South Salem to find places to ride. Just don't tear them up. My friend and I are the ones that help maintain them. I ride the trail 2 to 3 times a week. They are really nice trails.

Customer Service

Stay on the main trail. You can tell what the trail is because its been ridden a lot.

If you go right you will go down what i would say is a jeep rode its not long. You will come out on a paved road go to your left and there is a trail go to your right it is a paved road about 1/8 to 1/4 of a Mi. you will find no cars and no way for a car to get to the road.I don't know why the road is there but it is.At the North end of the road is a trail that will take you the a house if you go down and right or go to the right and you will go to Belcrest.Back at the jeep road(Southend of the road)with the jeep road on your left you will find a trail to your right i did not ride this one yet but if it is any thing likethe one on the South of the road it will be a fun little ride. Back to the trail to the South of the road this is where I found most of the trails. Ride in to the trail you will come to a wood walk way you can ride it but when it is wet Hehe well if you ride much you know. Yes i whent down on it the first time oops. But you can ride it. There are a few difrent trails on this end so just ride and find then you will know if its a trail. Its nice to find some thing in Salem that you can ride. I can have my kids with me and thay can ride and work on there skills. When on the trails you are on some ones land its not yours so play nice and we all can play tomorrow. For a good trail I can ride in Salem and have fun with or with out my kids I think this trail should get a rating of 3-4

Customer Service

there is a pretty fun loop that my friends and I made where you start at the top of the hill in the back of the cemetery, and go down a really steep decent and then you go down the hill across the creek and to the right. you will come to a large stump and then you walk up the hill a little ways to the left and then go right. go a little ways and to the left around the corner you can see foot prints on the left. follow those for a little bit then you can ride. the trail is kind of hard to see right now cause this part of it hasn't been ridin alot yet. the trail goes down hill and then you come back to the main trail so just go straight across it and you will come to a fun tech trail and then it comes out to a trail called sleepy hollow and go straight across it and it is a short little loop part that goes back to sleepy hollow and just go up the trail. when you get to the top you will come out to the main trail. you can go left or right. if you go left then you will come to the tech trail on the left but if you keep going then you will come to the stump again. if you go right from sleepy hollow you will come out on the road and if you go straight you will come to more trails at the end. on the left there is a wide grassy road that goes up to browning. just before the grassy road on the left there is a steep little decent that i went down. it is not a steep as the first hill behind belcrest. i do that one to.

Customer Service

stay on the main trail, but my friends and i have made three new trails and there are more to come. they are all off the main trail but you just have to look for them. They are on the north side of the paved road that is there for no reason.

If you live in the salem area, there is a petition at Santiam bike shop for some land to build trails on. so if you sign it, the better chance we have to get some new mtb trails going.
