This trail is ridabel but unmarked. Carl's directions below below are typical "carl directions" and are old but will work in a pinch. If you email me at tristanhuff at hotmail dot com I can give you newer instructions and/or a map or, better yet, I'll come ride with you. This is a great trail system that hardly sees any traffic so be sure and check it out if you're in the area

This route includes quite a few hills, if you like uphill you'll like this route. It has many challenging trails, with rapid downhill. Beginers should expect this to be a difficult route, you may wind up doing more walking than you want. If you want to know more about this trail system and other local trails, talk to the people at Moes Bike Shop, located in North Bend on Highway 101.

Go up Jones Cr. Road, when the road forks take a right. This will be uphill. You will pass three main junctions, stay to the right. The fourth junction will come on semi level ground, hang a left, follow the road until you reach the top. You should pass an iron gate before you reach the top. The first trail will start on the right, looks like a dirt road with a large dirt barrier in front of it, follow this trail to the next road. This trail includes both uphill and downhill and will take you through prarie, logged areas, and forest. Turn left on this dirt road, continue until you reach a trail that diverges to the left side into a clearing (approx .25 mi from where you turn onto the road). Follow this trail all the way down until you meet a gravel road, this will be downhill, beginers should expect to walk a little, it gets somewhat hairy. Turn right up the hill, go about .25-.5 mi. There will be a trail on a right hand corner, just continue straight onto that trail. Follow this trail to the next gravel road, there's a steep drop from the trail to the road. Turn right and proceed up the road, at the first junction take a right. At the next junction take a left, from here. This climb will take a while, the next trail will be on the left. It will go uphill for a short distance, before leveling off in an old growth forest. Once on this trail there will be a junction (*), take a left and you will wind up back on a gravel road after some intense switch backs. Follow the road downhill to where you started on Jones Cr Road. If you are not tired, you can take the right turn at the junction (*) this will lead to a fast downhill trail leading to Big Cr. Road, from here follow the road downhill (stay on the main road) to Jones Cr. Road, this will close the loop that youve made.

It is a pretty fast trail, especially the lower section. The top section from the meadow down is in dire need of clearing, blackberries and trees break your flow, but it is worth it to get to the lower section and axe creek! Both rip. watch out for poison oak, especially in the open areas.

all in all this is a pretty fun ride, the best downhill that I know of around here. go ride it, improve it, make some jumps or something, oh yea, this is a challenging trail for beginners and fun for anyone else
