Shared use with ATVs makes for wide singletrack trails. Lots of sticks and branches - only had one flip up and get stuck in the bike, though. Beautiful forested rolling trails, up and down, many roots make things technical; occasional rutted trail from motorcycles and mud, even mid-summer, are fun interjections too. Map roadside is helpful but not 100% accurate. Trails posted well enough. Take a pic of the map by mile marker 251 on your phone and you're fine. No long sweeping downhills; some good short sections. Saw no one else out there on a July 4 holiday.

A collection of various root infested, singletrack trails. It's one of the few places around to ride for the south coast area, which sucks :( Some of the trails are good, some aren't, everyone has their favorites. Most of the time your eithering going up, or going down. Not the place for speed, but good for technical skill building.

I rode this trail as part of the bay area fun fest race. Talk about fun! I did the long course even though
I am not that fast and boy was I glad I did. Moes bike shop and the volenteers did a good job of putting the trails together so we did 16 miles of pristine singletrack in the woods. The roots are a real test of your skill and they givew you a nice workout.

What a pleasant surprise!! Richard put me on to it. Lots of technical balance and traction work. didn't put in a lot of miles but got a good workout. The mushroom hunters were thick back there the day we rode it. Watch out for those blind corners! It's also open to motorcycles and that got a little hairy but no incidents. Great collection of trails. If you're in the area you have to ride it.

I started from the north end of the gravel pit. the less time spent on the gravel road which connects lots of the trails, the better.

The trails are pretty technical with lots of ruts and roots still pretty fun if your looking for the most technical trails on the oregon. And your in luck there
over thirty miles of trails at whinchester. You should not ride it if your a beginner.

Customer Service

I would recomend the race route that they do every year
in september. All you have to do is go ask the guys at MOE'S Bike shop and they would be glad to tell you .
