Not bad. Quick but nothing exciting about it just your basic trail. Everything is very predictable. The climbs are good for Ohio though.

A very well mainted and fast race course with a little bit of everything. It has singletrack, uphills, downhills, and wide open areas. I would give it 4.5 stars but since I can't I'll give it 5.

I don't know about the cross country course (because I don't wear spandex) but the Slalom course and the Downhill kick ass. The best slalom course in Ohio, but that's not saying much. Gates, a huge set of doubles, berms, jumps, electronically timed and fast as hell. The Downhill is tight at the top and opens up a bit towards the bottom but remains tight singletrack all the way. A couple of jumps, dropoffs, a small rock section, AND a ride back to the top! Great place to start racing. Pizza, pasta and camping on site on race weekends. State parks, camping and lakes nearby. http://www.doitsports.com/ambc/mickey/

This is an awesome and challenging cross country race course that is rivaled by no other in this area. The downhill and slalom courses also rule. The people that organize this course and the 7 races throughout the year are the best. Full of challenges and fun trails, Mickeys has the best of everything. You should go out and ride this course, it is the best! Also check out their site at www.mickeysmtn.com .

Best XC Ohio has to offer-Enough said. Everyone within a 3 hour drive better come on race weekends or anytime, or you should kick yourself. Calivin Mickey is the coolest guys I have ever met. The trails there are superb. Great climbs, with kickin downs. Its just perfect.

Customer Service

either way is great, except on race weekends, then just follow the ribbons

This trail is really a mtn bike facility run by Calvin Mickey. I have found him to be a first class race promoter who deserves tons of credit. The trails are well marked and challenging with plenty of hills and varied terrain. The races are well run, well attended friendly affairs with lots of door prizes. Many "regulars" attend these events which is testimony to the high quality being offered. Check out the web site at www.mickeysmtn.com

Decent riding. XC is a good mixture of clibs, downhill, slightly twisty. Not very technical aside from the occasional downhill off-camber. Interesting ride but not very long. Longer/advanced races are multiple laps. DS and DH courses have one approx 10' hit each and are fast. X/C is well maintained and marked for racing so you have to try hard to get lost. Various races apparently routinely get 300-400 entries total. Has extensive artifical/natural trials area. Seems like a good place to try out/get started racing. Calvin is super cool. Will return for certain.

This trail kicked my A$$. I am used to Michigan trails that have decent climbs and descents with cruising in between. No cruising along resting at this place. It was either grinding up a steep uphill for a long ways, or screaming down a cool descent. A great place to ride! If you are not in great shape, don't even think about trying this one. It is not a beginners' trail.

Customer Service

I tried the XC, it was about 5 or 6 miles, extremely well marked. Good enough marking where you knew what was coming up next. The DS and DH are pretty sweet looking too.

Similar Products Used: Vulture's Knob is similar in set-up, but lots easier.

This trail has enough non-technical and climb sections to test your fitness and a few roots and logs to keep things interesting. The course is around 5 miles long, and in my opinion, it's what XC racing was meant to be. Calvin also is a nice guy and the course is very well marked.

Customer Service

spokejunkies.com has good directions.
