This trail starts with one of the best singletrack sections around !!! The first 2 miles are a blast, crazy gullies and a big drop off are all part of the fun. The next mile or so your are out in the open, starting with a slight down hill run over some man made jumps followed by a singletrack section that runs along side a creek. Then your back out in the open with a few little things here and there.Towards the end you have a part that is very maze like and in the trees. For the most part this trail is flat and fast, it does have a few short climbs (one thats kinda steep, but easy if you know the right line) none that are very long though. The first woods part I'll give a five the rest is about a three, I guess that makes it about a four overall.

This is actually a neat little trail. Not much in the way of marking, but it really gets very little traffic despite being a decent ride. Yeah, it's not a major exertion, but who wants to cough a lung every ride. First part is the twisties. Lots of roots and logs. Then you go through the BMX section (watch those little asphalt buggers). Next is kind of a scenic singletrack climb. Very decent. Finally you go by the transformer and do about another mile or so and you are done. Very unconventional MTB trail but overall a very decent ride.

Customer Service

Park in the shopping center and drop in by the dumpsters. (how appropriate)

Extremely enjoyable. You can push it hard for a good physical workout or you can just take it easy and enjoy the scenery. Very beautiful ride along a creek. It is a technical trail but still most relaxing. This time of the year with the leaves falling, some portions of the trail were somewhat difficult to identify. Could be better marked but still a trail well made. Lots of trees and shade.

this was a f'n awesome trail that was only 20 minutes from my house. it was a terrain park for mountain bikes. not a huge lung burner, but the physical workout you would get hurling through the gullies and over and around. now the woods are GONE. Thank You Capitalism. there is still the rest of the trail, but it's not even worth and it is by far the closest trail to my house. there was even a jump park, and i figured i could get some miles doing laps and get my adrenalin rush in the bmx park. WRONG. they freakin' took that as well. i don't get it. the woods were CLEAR cut 'cuz some guy was leasing the land and $'s must have come a callin'. the bmx park had nothing to do with that and now that is gone. even though that was by far the closest trail to me in this sprawling city of charlotte, i doubt i'll ever back.

Customer Service

This trail has a few technical spots, a few short drops and a few uphills (nothing big), but there is trash everywhere. The jumps are nominal. There is a wooden ramp built at the bottom of one of the hills, but overall, not that much fun.

Customer Service

Follow the gravel road to the trail behind the bleachers near the remote control airplane field.

This trail is listed as Signal Hill in trail guides (see list above). This trail was really enjoyable and had lots of opportunity for speed. It wasn't overly technical, but had a variety of challenges, including a few steep climbs, several man-made obsticals and a long straightaway with some whoop-de-doos. I'd recommend it for riders of all skill levels.

Customer Service

From the gravel parking lot, I'd take the path off to the left and travel clockwise.
