This trail is FUN!!!!!! with a capital fucking F!
I am going back to ride it some more soon. I went on a weekend, and my friend and I were the only bikers there.
lots of people running around on atv's, but you can hear them coming and get down the mountain a lot faster than they can. the atv crowd was cool, and gave us water when we ran out.
be prepared for:
big air
fast corners
steep rocky stuff
slick hard surfaces
big banked turns
technical stuff
loss of skin
big climbs and descents
happy rednecks
fun.

bring your bikes, beers and blunts, cause this is an awesome place to go!

Big Brain on Brad

THIS IS A KILLER DOWNHILL SINGLETRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm wearing a cast now (at least it has a flame paint job) - watch for the big trees when you decide to catch air (duh!)

Customer Service

don't go to the ORV park unless you want to ride with our motorized friends (it sucks when you're climbing technical shit and have to suck down race gas). Turn in Brown Mtn Beech and go to the bridge. At the bridge take a left. Go till you come to a parking lot at the top of a hill and on the left. Go up the fire road to the left of where you park and ride for aprx. 1 mi. Look carefully to the right (leaves make it hard to see) and follow the singletrack. The climb sucks, but this is really fuckin sick downhill single track. After the "graveyard" watch for the mine shaft in the trail (can hardly see bottom).

This was a great ride. It is used extensively by dirtbikers and ATVer's so keep this in mind. But, if it weren't for these guys, we probably wouldn't have this area as a place to ride. The fee is $ 3.00 and we were the only MTB'ers while there were more ATVer's and Dirtbikers than I could count. The climb up #1 is a tough way to start but the rest of the ride is well worth it, especially coming back down. Number 7 is no longer marked. If you intersect #1 again, you have gone too far. Follow the rest of the route above. This was my first time here and I met another MTB'er who was also there for the first time. Both of us agreed that we would ride this again. As a note, only while riding on #1 did we see any bikers. Otherwise, we had the rest of the ride to ourselves.

Customer Service

We rode the route recommended by Capone's review of Nov. '98. Go up #1 (approx 3.3 mi's) to LEFT on #8 to LEFT on #7 (number is scratched off of post) to RIGHT on # 6 to LEFT on #5 to LEFT on #4 to RIGHT on # 1

This is the best all-around place to ride. As technical as you want with some great air and downhills. Kicks Tsali's ass. Bring your camping gear, and go during week to miss all rednecks

OUR FAMILY ENJOYS BROWN MTN PARK. THE TRAILS ARE CHALLENGING AND GREAT FUN. REMEMBER TO WATCH CAREFULLY
WHEN RIDING THE TWO WAY TRAFFIC TRAILS. WRECKS DO OCCUR. THE CHANCES HAVE LESSENED DO TO CHANGES IN
ALLOWED TRAFFIC DIRECTION. WATCH THE SIGNS. IF YOU TAKE CHILDREN THAT HAVE VERY LITTLE EXPERIENCE, IT WOULD BE BEST TO CRUISE UP AND DOWN TRAIL ONE.

Your body will hurt. You will want disc brakes, full suspension and possibly a parachute. You may want motorcycles out of you way. Get cocky and you might end up 15ft in a tree. Very fast, curvy and jumpy. Is 4wheeler trail so it's 4ft wide. Best I've ever been on.

Customer Service

Cost has risen to $5 although u can get year pass for $25. Still worth it. BEST route? Up 1, left on 4 to top of ridge which is 1 again and take right till ya come to NUMBER 9...
