I rode this trail on our family vacation to Boone. The trail system is very short, just a few miles long but there are three different levels to ride. There is a moderate, advanced and expert. I only rode the moderate because it rained the night before and the bridges and rock gardens were very slippery. These trails are very technical, though I did see families on Wal-Mart bikes trying to ride the trails. They were mostly walking their bikes. The down hills are fast and short and dangerous in my opinion, hairpin turns and trees and steep drops off the sides of the trails. Definitely a potential to break some bones. I would love to go back and ride the more advanced trails on a dry day and I would bring platform pedals instead of clipless pedals.
