First, this is the same trail as Crab Meadow.
For locals like me, it's short, sweet and aerobic. A good after work ride. In an area where the highest point above sea-level is 400ft, downhillers will be frustrated. For the critics, LI is about fast so stop looking for what we don't have..... No, there aren't many jumps here to talk about. This trail is about hills, sand, and training. This is the only trail on LI that beats me on the hills. Do 4 - 30 degree hills in a row, straight up (no switchbacks), and your heart rate will be 170+....Then do it again.
Hey, anyone can go downhill....
I used this place to train for MOAB. White Rim (100 miles loop) and Porcupine Rim (32 mile loop)...that's 13,000 ft of climbing at altitude, in a weekend so this place serves a purpose

Start on Waterside at the bottom of the LILCO Right of Way. Climb the sand a half mile to the top and left turn into the woods. Travel down the trail, jump into a side trail or keep on going toward the Meadow. Everything loops back the the LILCO RoW

This place sucks the jumps are so small and they have been ruined, the trails are destroyed, and lately every time i go i wind up popping my tire on the trails. Honestly its not worth your time. I reccomend tinys at least those jumps arent ruined
