Hedden Park - TRAIL

Hedden Park - Trail, Randolph, Jersey

The park is rather small so don''t expect a long loop but, the trails are IMHO insanely technical. Park by the lake, go past the pavillion and make a left up the hill and explore.

Technical trail with some nice climbs, is short but some of these climbs make up for it.

Entrance from Reservoir Rd, go to 3rd parking lot on left, go to blue trail cross the brook stay to the right as trail splits and climb! When you go up the gravel road to the top, go to the right of the base field follow the white trail have fun going down and if you are brave turn around and climb that sucker!

This Trail is pretty intense. I wouldn't call it really technical, there is just big difference in elevation from one end to the other. If you ever felt the need to climb up a fire road that stretches about a mile and long and 250feet up, you got it.
Bottom line: Nice scenery, pretty small, and a few overwhelming uphills for beginners like me.

Customer Service

The white trail, as it is the only real loop there is without combining road and other trails. Take the yellow and green for scenery.
