Seems like the trail hasn't been maintained since i last ride on out a few years ago. It's not really the same any more. Its really tame now and doesn't have the same aggressive jumps and bridges it used to have.

This Trail offers many challenges for all types of riders. Like the previous reviewer it has everything for everyone. Lots of cross trails to go exploring and vary your ride. Helmets and eyeware are a must with all the low hanging branches. Sharp turns that turn into drops or a short steep climb that turns rather quickly are some of the technical aspects of this great little hidden secret.

The thing I enjoy the most is the many transitions. Lots of short steep hills, quick descents, and fun obstacles along the way. I'm not sure I'd go here if I lived an hour away, but since I can bike there in 10 minutes, it's an awesome place to hit up for a quick ride after work to blow some steam off.

Customer Service

NOTE: the so called freeride area with the dirt jumps and and tabletop jumps has been vandalized. two out of the three tabletop jumps have been lit on fire and as a result, are unridable. shame.

Good set of trails on the Livingston campus, that seems to be a pretty well kept secret. You'll occasionally see other bikers in here, but only in the freeride area, which consists of step ups, gaps, stream crosings, ladders, etc. Theres trails all over in here, so its hard to get bored, I'm always finding something new and I live right down the street. Some of the trails are getting overgrown with grass and stuch I guess because of how this summer has been and the lack of riders, but this whole place is a great ride. From the outside it looks pretty flat, but theres some pretty nice elevation change once you get inside. Just go and explore around, its big enough where you might get a little lost, but if you just ride around somemore you'll find your way back out. The gay guys used to be a problem back in the 90's, but the Rutgers Police seem to have it under control now (I would suggest taking a cell phone with you though just incase you see anything going on). Its a great place to ride, and if anyone wants to go riding back there or do some trail maintanance, just PM me!

Customer Service

Theres so many different routes in here. You could just stay in the freeride area if you want, or you could go out and explore. Theres a good 12 miles of trails in there.

These are not BMX jumps, they were all built by mtbers for mountain bikes. Someone please go out here when it warms up and post reviews of how my trails are. Also please run off the homos. I have moved to Florida and desperately miss my home woods. The creek jump is totally smooth, it is a 15 ft gap, small step up to a flat lander. Just go fast and do it. I hope people go ride these trails, as I have 3 of my best years ever riding those trails!!

Customer Service

Big loop to hit all of the stunts. There are 9 good sized jumps, 3 man made bridges and 2 of the coolest natural log rides ever. Also, go out of the woods to the loading docks, and there is a big drop to a nice tranny lander, probably 5 to 8 feet, depending on how far you go down.

First off directions are wrong... once on river road, you have to make a left onto a road that begins with a C..Creek, Cave something along those lines..its one that is 4 lanes and has rutgers livingston campus signs everywhere and parking etc...then make a left after all these condos and stuff at a light (first light) and you'll start seeing trail entrances on left..and don't park where it tells you above, they tow you now..park in one of the lots nearby And what the hell, noone is joking about these fags in the woods, they are EVERYWHERE..I went alone, and it was not fun, they look at you and sh%t..as far as the trails are, it was to leafy to see most of the trails but the ones I did see led to some good more bmx style jumps, which the shorter distance ones were good for mountain biking...log walks which were in decent shape..on single tracks there were a few 2 foot high root drops which at high speeds downhill you got some nice air..overall, wasn't insanely impressed, but probably gotta go back in spring when I can see all the trails..but these fags make me not wanna go again

***** WARNING ****** If you are a kid don't come here alone. M-F after work (5:00 to sunset) there are freaky fag perverts that run around the woods. I was there last Monday and this old (40 something) was just walking around deep in the woods. Once he saw me he stopped and hid behind a bush and started masturbating. I freaked and rode down the fireroad only to find him by the lake jump 30 minutes later where he stopped and starting masturbating again. I came up to him and flung my water bottle at him and he was standing there stunned with this d**k pointing out so i just shoved his gay ass and tumbled down into the lake. I SO wanted to take my seatpost out and bash his head in God damn F@GG0Ts. I don't hate gay people but do it behind close doors like heterosexual people do it. I was there last week and this really young 19ish year old puerto rican kid was getting skull boned by an old guy by the log jumps/ladder area.

Can't believe a trail like this exists in the middle of Rutgers Livingston. The trail has really nice curvy uphill and downhills and nice rolling singletrack. The trail has small red slate chips on some parts so it dries real fast after it rains. By the parking lot there are some wicked BMX style jumps some setup. Haven't gotten the nerve to try those yet. There is a river stream in the middle of the area and the trails bob and weeve around the stream. Excellent trail system and one of my favorites now... even more so then Mercer county park.

I frequent this trail and I am troubled by the prevalence of blatant homosexual sex. We must take action to curb this activity. If anyone is witness to lewd conduct PLEASE contact Rutgers police at 732-932-7212. The Piscataway Police Dept. does not have jurisdiction over the trails. I call them each and every time I am witness to this. If we all complain, this will stop. These trails are excellent and I will not let them ruin this for myself or our children. Thanks for the help with getting this cleaned up and thanks to all that have helped develop this trail.
