I Dare You - TRAIL

I Dare You - Trail, Newark, Jersey

Mostly Rocky, dirt, Rocks, beer bottles, needles, Burnt cars Crack heads, and Heroin addicts. They just opened a whole new section by the railroad tracks. It goes for about 7 miles along the other Amtrak rail passing downtown Newark which is a fucking shit hole. There are paved roads that weave into a train tunnel full of bitches and whores. You can ride it all in an hour depending who is running after you. If you don’t peddle fast enough to you might get shot or robbed sp becareful with that. But this trail is not so bad if you ride it armed to the tip. You need flat roads when you are looking at the scenery. There is also a natural estuary with lots of birds and sea wildlife.

I have been riding here for over 30 years. I am nothing what you have decribed and doing very well. Sorry that you are so soft. I know some people that would fear riding in the area you live, not me. I spent my college days in Utah. Maybe Iraq would be more of a pleasure ride for you. Try the White House, I am sure you find comfort with that path. Enjoy your life. God Bless

My buddy and I rode there for the first time on Saturday. I was really disappointed, no hos, no crack even. The railroad section was cool (you rail trail folks should try it with the tracks still there!), but I went through three tubes fixing needle flats and nearly lost my rear DR trying to bunny hop a homeless guy. Technically, there are a few potholes and a few burned out cars here and there but nothing crazy. Maybe good for an after work ride, but definitely not a destination.

This trail is the bomb diggety. All I brought with me was a 40 of Old E in my hydration pack and some Boone's Farm wine for energy and I was flying like a kite, especially after the quick stop at the Crack House. Great trail for all skill levels including wannabe ganstas to full pledge gangstas.
