A friend of mine JimBo took me through the park which has many trails to offer as with skill levels. The newer trail on the backside near the lake is offers a great wildernedd view without pavement in site. One trail leads to a bench lake-side which is nice to cool off a little at. At the cliff, you choose a variety of trails to start out on.

Customer Service

Any route you choose. There are several trails to mix and match up. "Hot Rod Hill" is cool as with "Rollercoaster"

Well, a buddy of mine and I went there exploring after seeing the trail rating. You're lucky if you can find a mile of singletrack. I have cooler trails in my backyard. The only way I can say it was worth the gas to get there is that I know to never go there again. What a waste of a good morning. I even went across the street and tried the trails there. Loose dirt from dirtbikes/quads, tons of briars.... (flat city)

What a disappointment. Doesn't even deserve one chili.

I personally think the trails here are nice for beginners to learn and nice place to just spin for a fewer minutes or even an hour.Very beautiful facilities kept up by mountain bikers who know the trails and are great riders. If you dont KNOW the trails than you shouldn't really say anything just because you took some bad advice from a cuple of kids who may only have riden there and nowhere else.

This park is nice if you have about five minutes of time to explore 1500 feet of trail. Otherwise, don't waste your time. Go to Allaire or something that is worth your time.

Trial from Robertsville road side of the park is a well established loop. Some nice log obstacles (9), as well as the Big and Little dippers. There are also some opportunities to catch air off of some small natural ramps/drops along the trial. Trial is well maintained. However, probably not enough terrain to merit a long road trip. Beginners will probably struggle with a few of the log obstacles, expert riders might find the trial easy, although the approach to two of the log obstacles is uphill with sharp left turns. These two are then followed by a third obstacle. Makes it interesting!

If you want to drive to a park in the NJ shore area, then go to Hartshorne. You will not be disappointed. If you've got kids, take them to Monmouth Battlefield state park. Lots of easy terrain that kids will enjoy.
