Lone Pine Trails - TRAIL

Lone Pine Trails - Trail, Kalispell, Montana

All trails are short but pretty technical. There are a few big rocks and bumps to jump off when coming down.

Great trails to punch around on after work. Equestrian trails make a great workout on the way up. Random singletrack all around. View of the valley from the top is nice. Keep an eye out for hikers, horses, and others on the way down. Getting busier every year. Try it after dark for something a little different. DONT forget the mosquito repellent during the summer evenings.

Road this trail one to three times a week every week of every summer when I was in High School. The main (shorter) trail is the most technical with a pretty steep climb for about I would say 3/4 of a mile to a mile to the top of the mountain (state park on top). This is the trail I used all the time because it was the most used and easiest to find and the most bang for the buck. I would not say it was extremely difficult but a good hill to learn to climb on. There is one pretty difficult section in the climb, but everything else is pretty straight forward.

Customer Service

Pretty much less then 2 miles from downtown Kalispell. Look west southwest standing downtown and the first mountain/hill you see is it. I would park at Flathead Highschool. Take 5th Ave south until it turns west directly toward the mountain you will go up over a hill and then down the other side the road will turn back toward the north...but go straight on to the trail (jump the barrier if you like) and up the ridge......take the trail to the top....short and sweet and a good 20-30 min workout and close to town. Turn around at the top and ride down....be carefull aand brake smartly and hard or you will soon find your self in a world of SH$T!

Short trails but close to town. You can get a little air off the boulders in the trail. There are a lot of different trails down but the main trail is the most fun.

Customer Service

There are a lot of ways to get to the top. Pick a trail and ride. The main trail is the shortest up but also the steepest.
